Depends upon the clone I'd say @yinyang . . . the GG ones from Vapor Freak etc have been excellent and had they been available when I'd bought the originals, I wouldn't have bothered with the hassle and extra cost. Chose your clone wisely maybe? But they'll always be a market as we live in a bargain/discounted world . . . who doesn't love one, I know I do. You may be right Perps but the trouble when buying from China is that the quality is very hit and miss ... as I have emphasised many times in this thread, this is a personal choice that I have made for the future. I own, and will continue to use, several excellent clones and I in no way wish to put anyone off trying clones for themselves. Indeed, without inexpensive clones I would not have been able to try all the wonderful mods and rba's out there and find what I like and don't like. Each to his own ... there is no right or wrong and having experienced both clones and originals I have now made a personal choice, that's all.

This is a really interesting thread - I'm just looking for tanks to go with my first mech mod and like all that's been said here. In an ideal world I'd spend serious money to get the best - not just in vaping. However this isn't situation I'm in financially lol, so have to consider alternatives. Conversely, I don't have the skills or knowledge (or inclination tbh) to fix issues with cheaper stuff just to make them work like they should. Its from this perspective that one of erik514's posts here struck a chord. The one where he's comparing designer label stuff vs cheap knock offs etc. It's his 3rd option that put me in meerkat mode i.e. Not high end, not high-end variable quality copies, but the "buy a pretty good shirt without the famous label that will look good, fit well and will last for ages for about the same price as the knock off" option. He recommends the AGA t-2 as a good example of this. Are there many RBA's in this category that people could also recommend? (thinking £20-40 mark I guess) Or do you feel that the high-end priced bits are actually the only ones that deliver the goods and just happen to look nice as an added bonus? Thanks

Thanks Don't buy an AgaT2, buy the RSST. It's superior in almost every way and a great beginners genny. The only positive for the Aga is the glass tank.

Thanks Watch the Classies for a bargain.... a Penelope V1 & a Spheroid sold here in the last week for £45 each, both quality bits of kit.

Agreed, the RSST is a good place to start if you're interested in Genesis type atties. ETA.... Although the RSST is really a copy of something else.

dhansak as others have said the RSST is a good RBA, which is easy to build. They now do it with a pyrex/glass tank and it is an authentic RSST for £17.22......just a 4/5 week wait. Griff

I've spent half the day fiddling with my new glass tanked Squape clone that came from focalecig ... £13 and only 2 weeks delivery ... Just can't get it to stop flooding . But ... I'll persevere with it and worse case scenario it ends up in the box of broken bits
It won't stop me buying clones though ... Taifun GT and kayfun 3.1 work faultlessly and for something that costs a tenth of the price of the real deal it's worth the gamble in my opinion...
Back to fiddling....

I am really fussy about atties because I'm inhaling from them. I don't think it is worth taking a chance.

Or getting them to short kailey I am tending to go for mech mods nowadays and I don't want them to short! Oh no. I hope you enjoy your gold Magneto. I think it is really cute but I can't help but hanker after a gold atty now.

Sufie at Fasttech, has assured there will be a positive solution to the Squape issue by Mon/Tues. Seem there is a bad batch. I must of been one of the lucky ones because, I haven't had one faulty product from Fasttech.
If anyone wants to pay £100+ for a metal tube, then that's their business...I'll just buy four mods for the same price, and still have the option of a full refund or replacement if any item is faulty. Like I said, I've been lucky so far with the stuff I've got (touch me head) - only wish I'd knew about FT before I spent £100's on gear from over priced UK vendors.

+1 to that After a few hours fiddling ( which I quite enjoyed really ) I've got my tobeco Squape clone up and running ..... It's bloody fantastic ... Just took a while to figure out what I was doing wrong
On top of my nemo clone it looks great and Vapes great .... Combined cost £30.... As opposed to £260...
