That's what I mean, FT seem happy to sell bad ones but other vendors where you often pay a bit more tend to sell better quality. Also more chance of getting a fix or refund if keeping it local. That's how it seems to me anyway but could be mistaken. No matter whether you buy a clone from UK or China they all come from the same Chinese factories. The only advantage of buying in the UK is that UK vendors generally indicate the manufacturer and you can choose to buy Ecigar, Ehpro, Tobeco etc - with FT and other Chinese vendors you seldom know who the manufacturer is.

Mmmm, I've seen nemesis from FT then I've got mine from hcigar that I bought over here and have to say mine wins, plenty of reviews around saying the same thing too so I don't think they're all made in the same place and china is rather large lol.
My russian is from the UK too and is also really good.
My experience is limited but so far it's been really good.

The only time I bought clone gear was a replacement for the Kayfun I wrecked (smacking on table in a fit of pique, breaking glass). It's been fine. Can't speak for batteries, always bought good ones from UK companies, or power, UK vamo and a genuine ProVari (arm + 0.5 leg required). The fake Kayfun bits, combined into my original, work fine, still leak but I now know that's due to user incompetence. Clones can work but I wouldn't buy only clones, especially where safety is involved (batteries, chargers, juice).

@yinyang could be the reason FT pulled the plug on the cheaper squape. Could well be charon but the one that I bought was the more expensive version (relatively speaking ofc) with the PMMA inner tank. I used to think that FT was great but the quality of a lot of their stuff, even the previously great Nemesis, has fallen lately. Cheap or not, I have had enough of waiting 4 weeks and not being able to know if I am going to get value for money or not.

@yinyang...... Glass inner is slightly more. Focale are out of stock at the moment, but great price. focalecig.com/search/keyword-squapeI can understand your disapointment with shoddy clones, but there will always be folks who just can't stretch to the price of genuine items sadly.

I quite agree davetherayon - where safety is concerned I tend to stick with AAEC recommended vendors.

I can't afford to buy genuine either but I will be saving up and buying the occasional genuine mod or atty from now on.
