Arghhh i think my intellicharger i4 is broken, just got it..

Just got it from ecig cabin 4 days ago
and its already dead or playing up or completely breaking my panasonic 186050b 3400mah batts 

i use them in my smok vv/vw mod and when the smok says LOW VOL i take one out and power on the charger and place the bat into the charger then it starts charging.
here is where it get weird.

sometimes the charging orange led will stop and the blue power led will blink then the 3 orange leds blink then it repeats that for ages... i have to take out the bat and put it back in then it starts to charge normal again and it will repeat the same crap after a wile.
now all the lights where blinking again after some time and blue power led was blinking and i took it out and put the bat into my smok and checked voltage it said 3.9v but on a full charge i usally get 4.2v so took it out and put it back in the charger and now i cant even get it to charge.
just blinking blue led with all slots leds blinking orange on and off and on and off and blue led blinking.


what a waste of money this charger is and i was recommended it from members on these forums, i must be very unlucky...

You sure it's not your batteries that are defective? That charger is known to be spot on, never had the slightest issue with mine and I use it every day, sometimes twice with using the 18350's lol.

The batts are brand new from ecig cabin aswell ???? 

2x [561] Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries

got those aswell ??? surely both batts are not broken ???? as the charger does the same behavior with either battery :/

What does the instruction manual tell you virus2k, usually the sequence of blinks indicates the problem.

Was your previous charger ok? With the same batteries? It's entirely possible you have a faulty charger but the nitecore is generally considered a good one, I've been hammering mine for a year virtually 24 hours a day.

Might be worth checking the battery terminals don't have any oxidation on them. (Y'know like when you used to spin AAAs to get em to work!) I'd give the ends a clean. Oh just a thought but aren't you supposed to charge 2 at a time?..

Instructions are pretty crap imho... english chinasian lol
but basiccly when its working correctly when you put a batt in the blue power light stays fully lit and does not dim 
then the orange lights run and test then start to charge blinking 1 then 2 then 3 then repeat....

now in the instructions it does not tell you what blue led dimming means or why all 4 bays orange leds all blink at the same time.
this is with only 1 bat in the first slot i have tried all slots just the same.

also there is version 2 of this charger out i think i ended up with version 1 lol also i cant check the authenticity of the charger as there is no serial number on the back of it to see if it matches up with the serial number on the box. ;/

arghhh so annoying cause its the only charger i have and also being new to vaping i have had no previous chargers to test if its the batts... but 2 of them acting up at the same time is pretty slim at that.

This is usually the point in proceedings, after much cursing at rip off piece of crap item, that I read the manual only to realise I've misunderstood something lol.

If above ain't what's happening in your case then gota be broken charger?

you can charge 1 or 2 does not have to be at the same time. And no no oxidation going on here. the batts are like less than a week old :/

The blue leds on my i2 have never worked from new but ot charges batts no problem

Deffo not what is happening here and i have been over the instructions with a fine tooth comb
i wonder if being a new customer ecigcabin would send out a replacment charger in advance cause if its the batts that buggered its going to take a wile to get this fixed incl 2 trips back and forth with the postal service

if i run out of batts im going to be with out a smoke HAHAHHA may end up stalking someone for a fag lol

Really annoying mate, I feel your pain.

Right I plug mine in, the blue light comes on, then I can throw a range of batteries in it and the orange lights start flashing, first one bar, then two then three etc. etc. a 18350 750 mah battery will have four orange bars after say 2 hours, but a 18650 3400 mah battery will take 8 hours plus or minus.

What's your experience compared to this?

Only have these 2x pani batts.... as like i said im pretty new to vv/vw mod ect though have been on a spinner type previously but i binned it after i got the smok as it was far far better though in hind sight i probably should have kept it for emergencies haha
