TOTALLY INDEPENDENT, UNAFFILIATED AND UNBIASEDI don't think there are any e-cigs which are the same size as a regular cigarette. right, was this answer correct, are there no E-cigarettes on the market the same size as a standard real cigarette ? The answer is YESSo, was the answer truthful, biased or an outright lie ? You are really starting to get on my wick a tad Headhunter with your snippy remarks, whether they're said in jest or otherwise . . . there's no need for them. You said that you had lurked a fair while on here before joining the forum, so I assume you had got a feel for the tone we set? If you can't enter into the spirit of the forum, perhaps you may like to consider others where your 'humour' may be better appreciated.

I started with a look-a-like cigarette e cig kits 3 years ago and they were as much use as a bottomless bucket > I must have spent getting on for £100 on starter kits, cartridges, juice and atomisers. They were relatively new in those days and were more expensive than they are today. Same with DVD recorders, our first one cost getting on for 200 quid. Now, Tesco and Argos value ones are £19.97! I gave up with the bleeping things and went back to baccy rollies. TG there's been such an amazing improvement with e cigs since those days. I've bought items from Jason, James and Kev and had excellent customer service from all of them.

The answer is YESSo, was the answer truthful, biased or an outright lie ? or simply an ill informed answer ? we all try to give information to the best of our knowledge but no one is claiming to know everything. the reason we're here is to help out others and have a bit of fun in the process I'm pretty sure Hissie was in no way trying to be misleading or untruthful. your remark was totally uncalled for Headhunter

And actually Hissie is right. The super-minis like the RN4081 that Heady has, may be more or less the same length as a real cig, but they are fatter & far more heavy.

Hello JMC - am assuming your kit will arrive tomorrow - bet you're feeling rather excited.
Good luck with it and if you get the "OMG! What do I do now?" feeling when it arrives, don't worry - just read the tips for newbies and/or post any questions you have and someone will be along to help you out.

When I had my first 'mini' I found the liquid strength (18mg) too weak and upped to 36mg (too strong). Had I stuck with the lower strength I'm not sure I'd have stayed off the analogues. I now use 24mg and find that keeps me satisfied - the 18mg Boge, prefilled cartomizers are pretty good but I always drip them with 24mg. Speaking of 'dripping' cartomizers, I have to admit to dripping directly into my Boges, three drops at a time and using them without the end cap in place - I'm weird. Fox

Big welcome JMC I wish you well and look forward to hearing bout how you're getting on. PS my DSE901 (which I still happily use now and again) could never resemble my former smokes- weeny prison-style rollies. It felt a bit strange to begin with but I soon got used to the massive size.. 12cm!

Right! First of all, apologies all for taking so long to get back on here, it's been a hectic week! Thanks everyone for the welcoming messages, and I'm amazed my thread was so easy to find after almost a week away from the forum, so thanks HeadHunter for making the remarks that have kept the thread on the front page So now to my experiences in the past week... I think I ordered my kit on the Sundat night, and my kit arrived on Tuesday morning in a lovely presentation box with al the stuff I ordered, as well as a syringe for the first fill on the Echomisers, a free drip-tip and a free sample bottle of aniseed juice that Jason very kindly threw in for me (thanks Jason!) He also put in a couple of pages of instructions and tips to get me started and continue successful vaping, so thanks for that too.. Turned out it was very sound advice to buy a separate atomiser and drip tip as the first juice I tried from my pickNmix (apples'n'pears) wasn't that nice IMO, so I was very glad I hadn't filled a 2ml Echomiser with the stuff. Next one I tried was 666, which is awesome! I've been on that one all week and really like the taste. I think I had two pulls on the sampler kit before I'd decided to fill an Echomiser. I had tried the kit and a couple of flavours on the Tuesday night after receiving the kit at the office, and had my first full day using the e-cig exclusively on Wednesday. I haven't had an analogue since. The e-cig has done the job perfectly, dealing with my cravings and giving me the peace of mind that I'm not filling my lungs with an undisclosed quantity of dangerous chemicals. It's also been really nice to not have to go outside to have a smoke. The Echo has been so successful in my house that my wife (also a smoker) tried it on the night I brought it home, and immediately asked if she couold try it for a while too. So she's stolen my second battery and one of the other Echomisers along with the Toffe Popcorn juice, and has also not had an analogue since Tuesday night. So I've converted another person to vaping within 10 minutes of my first try of it! Also after my initial reservations after finding out the Echo is 6 inches long, I'm glad I bought it as it doesn't feel as big as I thought it would Thanks all for the advice, tips and welcomes, now I must go and order some more 666 juice. I'm about to try the chocolate tabac in a few minutes too..

Excellent news JMC and even better that your wife has also joined you in vaping . . . you're both doing brilliantly by the sound of things.

Well done to both of you :-) I much prefer vaping, no ashtrays, no bits of tobacco down my top from rolling my own, no smell, no lighters and never again will I have a bit of lite tobacco accidentely dropping off the end and burning a hole in anything I wear ;-)
