Hello everyone.
I gave up smoking 3 - 4 weeks ago. I'm using a Innokin itaste V V. I bought Kanger protank 2 and Kanger protank mini. Mini is great - good draw - but the protank 2 is not good because the draw is very tight, i've tried changing the coil but still the same.
I am wanting a selection of tanks, but only airy ones. Any suggestions?
Thanks Jason

you may have overtightend the pro tank I had same prob on my vv3 try not tightening it all the way but till it shows as making contact (by testing ohms on vv 3) then tighten the pretty ring up to the tank you may have to jimmy the center pin of the atty out a v little bit and I mean a little bit (try sucking on the atty as you tighten it you'll see what I mean as you get closer to it being tight on the thread it gets harder to suck) the air controller vales stop the need to faff about and that one karma linked will fit all of your 510 tanks(wish idd got it instead of the aero tank base)

Hello and thank you. I'm new to using forums also, so I'm not sure who I'm posting reply to.
My pro tank 2 doesn't give me an airy enough draw until it is completely disconnected from my battery. I'm not sure that an air controller would do anything but make it tighter, as soon as it starts to connect to anything it gets a tight draw.

blueeyed1 I'm not to sure, but that sounds as if you have some sort of compression problem in the attys base. take it apart and have a good look at all O rings and seals, make sure they are located properly and not being squashed.

It probably depends on definition of airy too - the full size protank II gives a noticeably tighter draw than the minis or the original protank.
If you like the protank stylings but want a looser draw the Davide is a good choice - preferably in the BDC or King incarnation so you can use the Aspire heads which are a real cut above the single coil standard protank heads.

If you look at the base of the protank, at the very top of the vertical bit (510 connector) that screws into the battery, you will see a minuet hole. Make sure that's clear. Air will travel up through the head as well if it's not screwed into the battery so that might explain the release when you unscrew it. decoy is right about the centre pin on the Innokin mod - they are renown for pushing in (and eventually problems with the insulator around the centre post, but chances are the battery will age first and anyway, the battery is protected so a short isn't a big deal). Tease it up just a touch by levering side to side with a very small flat headed screwdriver if this happens. However, if your getting an ohms reading on the mod then this isn't the problem. As said already, don't over tighten the base or the main tank assembly - o'rings don't like to be crushed and leaks can occur. Likewise, you may find it prone to leaking when the juice gets below a quarter full. Just how it is with bottom coil clearos - it will leak through the head when this happens or, more likely, flood the coil - that will make a gurgling sound. The Protanks are pretty good entry clearos. Pyrex means it's easier to wash and there's no chance of juice reacting (some don't play nicely with polycarbs). All will be well.

I have a great draw on my Pro tank 2 but a really bad draw on my pro tank 1 ( using my Itaste v3 ) I saw this on my travels and got one absolutely brilliant works with all my pro tanks " 1 - 2 - 3 turns them into aero tanks at fraction of cost" Airflow Control you can tighten or loosen draw as needed and as it's designed and built by kanger so no problems using kanger heads. This replaces your normal bottom of tank (where head sits) not an add on like some so looks the part too.
