If you're like me, you find vaper's tongue incredibly frustrating! Hopefully, this post might help. We've looked at: - what is vaper's tongue
- what causes it
- what to do about it
The full post is here. I'd love to know if you think I've missed anything, and any solutions that have worked for you!

Very good post , my taste buds are bad all the time and i tend to go for strong juice so i can taste it, afro dizziac , menthol etc. sometimes it gets even worse and drinking more water than normal for 2 days and eating 2/3 bags of cheese and onion crisps for both days seems to work for me. might try the lemon though yuk

A strong menthol in a tank or 2 seems to sort my vapers tongue right out!

I use Minth.
No, not Mince, but Minth.
That is 5% Mint (spearmint flavour) and 5% Menthol, made up with a 50/50 PG/VG. Its nice an cool and leaves a nice minty flavour in my mouth.
Since finding how good this is, I use it last thing at night, every night. Not had any vapers mouth since.

that's a very interesting article jamesI was hit by vapers tongue for about a week some 3 weeks into vaping - but fortunately only in the evening - and my solution was a strong lemon-orange-menthol vape ( which I still like ) - as already then I used to vape at least 3 different flavours - it was not the boredom of one - and as I clean my protanks regularly in the ultrasonic cleaner - it was not a dirty atty - and I was not vaping long enough for my liquids to be out of date. I have not had vapers tongue ( fingers crossed ) for a long time - and have the same nice vaping experience in the evening as during the day the coffee does work - I used to manage a shop for natural cosmetics and my boss made great perfumes - we used coffee to neutralize the smell - in Innsbruck - my favourite perfume shop has a char of coffee to smell for the customers. the human mind is intriguing and easily to be influenced - I am not immune to that - but I also did a course in hypnotherapy which was very interesting and try at least not to be too much influenced - I happily shop at Lidl or Aldi and can't taste any difference between their and Morrisons tomato paste for example I did not know about the Derren Brown experiment - but I like the guy and his way to show the audience, how easy it is to be influenced - I did some 20 years ago a joke at a party - I had carafed red wine of a 2l bottle into 2 carafes and asked people to tell me which one tastes better - there were about 40 and only one noticed that it was the same wine. Also for a joke I used unflavoured food colour for pastry - the red and yellow ones went immediately - not so the green and blue ones

hm - to be honest I don't know - but out of feeling I would make a concentrate 40% orange - 40% lemon and 20 % menthol Greg - because if it's to little menthol you could always add a few drops later and then have 20% of that concentrate

I'll have to try the lemon and menthol solution!
Clivia, we were going to do a testing video to try and demo the psychological element of tasting, but just ran out of time!
