You can add on a bit for Gower Salt Marsh lamb. That's my mum's fault - when a local farmer complained he wasn't getting the price he wanted for lamb, she told him he should be branding it! james I would make do with NZ lamb if your struggling but I probably offend the Welsh population by saying that. Welsh lamb is expensive I know, its the reason I had none for years. I just check the prices on line and wow boned and rolled shoulder of lamb £17.35 - even a breast of lamb is £5.25. Really is that how much it is- I was a butcher for 18 years albeit 10 years ago. I am in shock. I be waiting for whatever you send james

I'd rather send you some ejuice - have you seen the price of Welsh lamb! (Especially the salt marsh lamb from where I live!) Done, now where's my leg of Welsh lamb in return.

Wales is calling ecigs a gateway to smoking, and proposing to ban ecigs in all public places. Not only will this mean an end to vaping cafes and shops, it could also spread to other areas of the UK and lead to a slippery slope of increasing restrictions on ecigs. Please add your support to this thunderclap: www.thunderclap.it/projects/12762-stop-wales-from-banning-ecigs?locale=en Really important, please add your support!

Unfortunately, trading standards are going to be all over him with a name like that (it's illegal to have the name quit in your url when you are selling ecigarettes). You might want to send him a friendly warning!

I'm trying to get a Welsh letter campaign going against the proposed ban on ecigs in public places. In this post: www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk/ashtray-blog/2014/04/how-to-stop-the-welsh-ban-on-ecigs.htmlI've made some suggestions on who to write to and what you might want to say (just in case some people are not sure!) If you're in Wales, please consider writing a letter, if not, please spread the word so as many Welsh vapers as possible are aware of the proposed ban! Based on my own correspondence, I estimate that we already have the support of at least 19 AMs, so it's definitely worth keeping up the pressure!

Had a nice reply from my Lib Dem AM on the subject of banning ecigs in Wales - very quick, as well: Thanks for this. I raised this issue with the Health Minister the week before last and it was also discussed at the Welsh Liberal Democrats Conference at the beginning of April. My position and that of the party is that it is not appropriate to legislate to change people's behaviour. The smoking ban came about because of significant evidence of the damaging effect on other people's health from second hand smoke. There is no evidence of a similar impact from e-cigarettes and unless such evidence emerges the Welsh Liberal Democrats AMs will be voting against this ban. I hope that helps Peter Peter Black AM Welsh Liberal Democrats Spokesperson on Local Government, Heritage, Housing and Finance. I'll have to try the lemon and menthol solution!
Clivia, we were going to do a testing video to try and demo the psychological element of tasting, but just ran out of time!

If you're like me, you find vaper's tongue incredibly frustrating! Hopefully, this post might help. We've looked at: - what is vaper's tongue
- what causes it
- what to do about it
The full post is here. I'd love to know if you think I've missed anything, and any solutions that have worked for you!

If you look at studies like this, it's actually a fairly large sample - 1,000 is generally considered sufficient. (Some of the passive smoking studies which have been used to make claims about a connection between lung cancer and second hand smoke have been based on just a 100 or so people.) It's also an established way to measure opinion. Opinion polls are accepted because it is impossible to ask every person in the country how they would vote, just as it's impossible to ask 1.5 million people what they would do. Of course, some measure of error is expected, but I think it's clear that many people would return to smoking. As for making up the stats, many of the people on this forum can tell you they answered the poll But I did anticipate the accusation of bias (if I understand it correctly I think you were trying to look at it from the point of view of a critic?), and my position is that while we're not the best people to carry out this sort of study, the people who should have carried out an impact assessment (EU commission, ASH, MHRA e.t.c.) didn't. So if we wanted any sort of assessment of the impact of vaping restrictions on smoking we were going to have to do it ourselves, despite the fact we would undoubtedly face these sorts of accusations. If it makes regulaters even think more about what they are doing we'll have achieved something. I think you can never get anything close to accurate results by polling just over 1% of e-cig users - The stats on the infomercial may as well have be made up.
