I've had the most exciting vapemail this morning - my Fasttech Russian 91% clone!! I'll do a review of it in due course, but now I need to get out my Kayfun Users Manual and read it through again before giving the whole unit a good wash and clean before attempting to coil it for the first time! Don't expect to see me for the rest of the day - I'll either be lost in the intricacies of this RBA or behind a cloud of rich fragrant vapour if the first coil works satisfactorily!

Thanks fred, I already follow Super-Shiny's Microcoil Method for my Protanks, but after reading your post went back and re-read the Kayfun guide, which is nearly the same for the Russian. Glad I did actually, as I was going to install a microcoil diagonally across the deck, but will now do it as per Rom's instructions and place it at right angles. Just hope that I can find the time to do this this afternoon!!

So far, my microcoil (using 2 strands of 0.2 kanthal side by side) has lasted 3 changes of cotton with about 4 or 5 tanks through each! The coil is as good as the day I built it!

Then tomorrow you can start on a twisted quad coil build ... C'mon ... We want pics !! Bugger that! Dual coils are enough faff! For the record though, if I'm not doing a cotton nest, my coils always sit diagonally across the deck. I then run my cotton as per svoemesto instructions. Just find this to give a slight juicer vape..

Yeah I agree ... I've tried dual coils ... But I'm not a dripper ... There are no benefits in an ordinary RBA to my mind .. Like kayfuns squapes Taifuns etc . I have an aqua clone making its slow way from china ... They're a different story .. 2 big air holes designed for dual coils ..... Twisted single coils tho are fantastic .... Got one in my GT and I'm loving it
