Strawberry and cream Capella weird taste

Ok this might sound weird but I have mixed up some strawberries and cream first batch at 12% 2nd batch at 20% and both taste dirty I am not sure how to explain the taste but it's not a clean taste don't get me wrong the flavour is spot on I thought it was the nic base or pg or vg
But my other mixes taste nice and clean any ideas ??
Ps I have had this taste from some shop bought juice
Just do not like it

Perhaps there's just an element in the flavouring that doesn't work for your taste buds thebaitrunner, seeing as you've had the same with some ready mix.

Or it could be the nic base and your other flavours just mask it better maybe?

I mix mine at 20% steep for a couple of weeks and it's fine, no weird aftertaste. Recently bought a second bottle of it, so it can't be a bad one.
