ok, my wife is really struggling with the sd or efags in general (lapsed in to a few fags).
she dont really know whats missing, i guess it throat hit.
she is still using 36mg golden virginia, so the strength is there.
im thinking she might be better with a different atty, but we have only ever used 901s.
can i have some advice and info please,be it VG attys or whatever.
her sd dont perform great but then she dont faf about with it like i do ie: stuffing,blow atty out clean threads etc etc, i do it sometimes but looking after someone elses sd every couple of hours dont really work out (yes im selfish a BIT) its a personal thing, if you know what i mean.

I get the best throat hit at 5v from my GGTS with the USB adapter (getting almost the same throat hit from using the GGTS with the 18650 battery but can't explain why). OK, I know that is an expensive route to go down but Garry Dibley's passthrough also give a similar throat hit @ 5v. You do need a good mains USB hub for a non battery passthrough to work at it's best has to be a 5v one with at least 2 amps.

Another (& cheaper) alternative would be trying Lower resistance atomisers - however, I've not tried these myself & have no idea if they work well on the SD.

Or your wife could simply try the 510 attie with an adapter? So many people say it gives a better throat hit & vape than the 901, but for some strange reason I've not found that to be the case.

I'm with you Chrissie, i still find i get a better throat hit with the 901, altho the Tornado is arguably equal....

I do find i sometimes don't get as strong a throat hit as i'd like, usually if i've been vaping quite a bit, if i leave it alone for 30 mins or an hour, it's okay when i go back to it....not sure what the reason for that might be...

My fave juice for throat hit has to be DK Tab, i had it at 24mg, but got some bottles at 18mg and it's still a strong hit....

when my SD was rubbish, i was hardly getting a hit at all, even if i was getting loads of vapour, but when i cleaned the attie connection as per Prof recommended, the throat hit improved 100%

That's interesting Lilac that you find the Tornado to be arguably equal. So many people do seem to love the Tornego (Tornado/Ego). It really looks like this non mod model is a big winner

I'm sure it should fit the MK2 as well - there shouldn't be any reason why it shouldn't do so. BTW TW sell a 910 to 510 adapter on it's own :

Chrissie do you have a link on tw for there 510s,i might just buy some and the adapter,it seems a bit of a cheek using someone else's (a very kind offfer all the same), if the governor dont like em i could always use them.
are tws 510s reliable or where else should i buy them,are they more stable than the 901 or is it the same story as the 901s.
ive never really read up on the 510s whats the pros and cons.
do they have different carts?

I'm far from being an expert on the 510's so shall leave t up to others to advise you about the best place to buy them from etc. They do come with different carts - round ones). However, the 901 carts do fit, but it's a bit of a tight fit to begin with.

With carts that are too tight, you can file them with a metal nail file, it doesn't take long.

George used to sell one cart for both 901 and 510 but now he's doing the new carts and they no longer do double duty, I understand (probably from Foxy).

no chrissie i m still on the 901s,the wife is back on the fags so no rush now.
i will go onto them when the 10 atties i have run out,the new ones (gazzamizers) are rubbish, or at least they were to me.
that said ive read nothing more about them on trogs or other forums so either only trog had them or no one has noticed a difference or there is no difference in them.

Raggy, I really like the 510 (with round carts). IMHO it's as good as the 901, sometimes I think with more 'hit' - vapour really good too. Tends to run a bit hot, but haven't found that a problem. I'm a fan of 'em both!

It's a 901 attie thats different to the generic 901's and the RN version, Lolli....the chinese manufacturers have been playing around with the design....

Trog and Raggy named them 'Gazzamizers' cos Raggy was mentioning his probs with them and his ID on ECF is Gazza someting or other...
