Best Most Versatile Power Source

I have gotten a handle on this vaping.. and the use of VV and VW so what I am now puzzling over is what would be the most versatile power source.  It seems that there are different threads and mounts..  and some if not a  lot of the batteries being sold cover these different mounts..
THe best way I think I could describe this frustration is.. I like the size of a ego 650 battery but grumble at its limitations.. while the 1100 is great but I hate its size.. there has to be a middle ground..
Any suggestions???

What features do you need?

Do you have a preference between VV and VW?

Do you need to check the resistance on coils?

Do you want a battery level check of some kind?

Zmax would get my vote Airwreck . . . it's neat in 18350 mode and you've the versatility of being able to use 18500(18490)/18650 batteries. Plus there's the ability to check resistance.

^^^^ +1 for the TZmax, nice and small in 18350 mode and 8 hours vaping in 18650 mode, no spare tubes to carry just a couple of batteries in a case and you're good to go!

Yep .. I'd go for the ZMax too. It looks good, feels solid, and is very easy to use.

Well yeah all of the above cuz as I evolve which delivery system I want to end up with..I won't need a different power supply or fret about will this sucker fit on this battery.. 

Now I don't want to sound stupid.. oh well.. already am.. but is this telescoping mentioning just for different size batteries??? meaning length.

Yes . . . and the different battery sizes will also affect the run time you get from the device Airwreck.

18350 - smallest

18490/18500 - medium

18650 - largest

The battery numbers are broken down like this

18 = 18mm diameter
35 = length in mm
49/50 = 49 or 50 mm long
65 = 65 mm long

The last Zero - Just throw that away!

5 it is 0 for round and 5 for square they were going to use other numbers but it would have got to confusing

any flat battery with corners
so the 5 is also used on pp3s smoke alarm batterys
mobile phone batterys
play station portable batterys
etc etc etc

Well I can learn something everyday.. had no clue about the battery number thingy..

So with all the bells and whistles how rugged is this thing??? or is it just an home unit

It's relatively durable Airwreck . . . mine gets shoved in a coat/work fleece pocket, my handbag and survives.

Depends how rough, your rough treatment is of anything I guess.
