For those of you who, like me in the past, rely on the product reviews when deciding to buy something on Fastech BEWARE.
I have submitted around 35 favourable reviews for FT products that I have bought in the past and each and every one of them was posted within 24 hours.
I then posted a less than favourable review (constructive and with no bad language or attitude) of the Squape clone that I received and I gave it an overall 2 star rating ... 3 days later it was still "pending approval" so I raised a ticket where I accused them of being less than honest with their customers by failing to post my less than favourable review. I got a reply that there must be a system problem as they could not see my review and could I please resubmit. I resubmitted the review and 3 days later it was still "pending approval". Back to my ticket a second time and this time they said that they still could not find my review and could I submit a screenshot of my review. I replied with 2 screenshots of my two similar reviews. They replied that they still could not find my review. Royally pi$$ed off by now, I decided to test them and I submitted a third review of the Squape, this time I gave it a glowing 5 star recommendation. And yes, you have guessed right .. within 24 hours my third review was posted.

I would prefer to think of it more in terms of fraudulent misrepresentation.

Sadly, this is prevalent for nearly every company in the world that does business online. I gave up a long time ago reading or taking note of product reviews. Like you have found out, they just don't show the real picture. I do read FTs discussions though, as you do get the real truth in them.

That's why I never go by reviews on there. Always read the 'discussions' section before buying because that's where the real dirt about products is covered.
Been having my own run around with them lately. An entire order has been held up with over a week due to one stupid drip tip listed as 'restocking'. Asked for the order to be split but they keep trying to get me to cancel that item. Nope. I'm being stubborn. Policy is to split orders, so split the damn thing. If their next reply is another run around, I'm just going to cancel the whole order. Just not worth the hassle and I'd prefer to spend a bit more elsewhere for the sake of my sanity.
*Edit - just received a new reply in my battle for the split. I've FINALLY got them to agree to split the order. Good grief. It's a victory of sorts, but I'm beat! Definitely my last order from them.

Blownupdolly and newdawn I always do go by the advice in the discussions but on this occasion I already had a great Squape clone from a UK vendor and I jumped for this FT version as soon as it became available. All the discussions were of the " Thank you Fasttech this is the one we have been waiting for" variety as no one had received one at that stage.

I have 10+ rebate points that I am waiting for them to convert into a $10 gift certificate ... if/when that ever happens, I will order 10 iclear16 heads for my grandson and that is me finished with FT.

Oh yeah! Forgot all about the points. Sigh. Looks like I'll have to chance one more order then. Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii - Just checked and turns out I only have a $1.20's worth, so I'm happy to cut my loss and move on.

From what I see there are some good copies out there but the SQuape is not one of them. I agree with Blownupdolly above that most, maybe not all companies wont publish constructive negative reviews or comments. Your account of this on here is better than one on there in my view.

Fortunately (or not) there was a problem with every order I placed so I was just delighted to finally see them. Sure as heck wasn't complimenting FT though. You're a better man than me @yinyang

On the Squape front, I received mine a few days back - the base is terrible - horrid threads and, as anyone following will know, the manufacturer anodised the base after drilling / threading. I managed to make the connection (no hard short for me) by distressing the deeper threads with a very small hard screw driver.... So, I now have a connection. I reported the state of it to FT and received notification two days later that a replacement base is going to be sent out. Poor threading isn't unique to the Squape and I find myself wondering what size taps to run down male 510 threads would be a good investment - anyone know? Oh - and like newdawn said, always always read the discussions. The mere presence of the reviews are useful though - it means that people have received the product your interested in and thus discussions will offer you the true picture. One other thing - I've no reason to doubt the use of the word "authentic" - however, I find myself wondering if Authentic includes flawed original product dumped by the manufacturer or outsourced manufacturing facility - I recall some protank heads I purchased early on in my vaping journey - they were the second purchase and when they arrived it was clear that the silica used was of a very low grade of purity. Ultimately, Todd's automated replacement of "Fasttech" / "FT" strings in The Shed is pretty much right ("The Lucky Bag Shop") - Sometimes product is brilliant - sometimes worthy of the bin.

well Amazon for example always shows also bad reviews. I start to agree with @yinyang - have not ordered much - it came without a problem - however the quality is very poor - some of the coils for example ony lasted a few hours - and I suspect what tomj777 wrote - authentic does not mean the best - my itaste vv for example : the green light is not working any more - the itaste itself works - but if that had happened with an uk vendor I would have sent it back. I don't think I will bother anymore in the future

I just get mine from the UK, don't really care about the extra cost, could easily waste more on sweets lol. Besides, I have NO patience. Just got a trident V2 clone for like £15 I think it was, looks spot on and arrived within two days. I'll give it a good wash and try it later.
