GGTB ????

does one of these change my GGTB from a 901 to a 510 or is it a replacement for a broken one and you have to have a 510 version to start with.

Hi Raggy yes that will replace the top cap you already have

but you could keep your 901 top cap and use one of these adapters

As Tye says Raggy . . . personally I think it's worth getting the 510 top cap for the GGTB, best of both worlds then.

If you use the Iatty with the GGTB using the 510 top cap instead of an adapter makes it look a lot better, very sleek

thanks for the replies, i will order one one shortly.
im not really 100% happy with an adapter ever since one seemed to be responsible for killing one of my SDs, i also like things to fit correctly and i feel that an adapter also causes an airy vape to some degree though im probably wrong.

Your making a wise choice Raggy. GGTB's look better with the proper caps on and like eye says, if you ever decide on the iatty, it's superb with the right cap.

I'm the same Raggy, although I do use adapters where I have absolutely have too . . . but I'd always far rather have the 'proper' connection where possible both for appearances sake and functionality.

Picky like that I am.

how did it kill the SD raggy ?

these things are hard to kill and my et is on the SD battery connector being pushed down in the middle slightly and thats why its not firing, just a guess offcourse as i have no idea what the adaptor has done

i used an adapter and an lr 510 and the atty spring/collapsed then fell off it was very hot to the touch.
cant be sure it was the adapter obviously but i dont know of any other reason it could of happened it was fine with 901s just a day prior to this.

It was the adapter raggy, exactly what happened to mine and many others, the problem was well recorded on the TW board when the MKII was first released, although I imagine that thread would have been "cleaned up" by now so as not to denigrate the product...business is business after all ;-)

No idea to be honest Raggy . . . the only thing I can think is that it has to be so to take the 510 fitting?

the 2 are like chalk and cheese the new 510 one is i would say is double the weight of the original 901 fitting.
