Hi, We have one each of the xxl clearomizers and they are working well. Question is how long do these last? Have cleaned them out very carefull three times now (apart from when we had the problem). Should I order spares?

Depends on how much you vape, keep them wet and they should last a bit, when juice tastes funny thats when to throw, always best to keep a few as spares though

About 2-4 weeks mine last me Fi . . . but as River says, it depends on how much use you give them.
Spares are essential IMHO, none of our supplies are built to last forever, they're disposable items and making stuff last too long can lead to less than good vaping, but that's just my opinion.

And if anything lasted a long time, suppliers wouldn't be making so much money That goes for everything we buy. TV's, computers, washing machines, fridges - the list is almost endless!

I really like the Clearo, but have only tried the Ultimate version, they dont hold much juice, do you clean the Ultimates by pulling off the plastic see through bit whilst its still attatched to the battery ( sounds scarey) And do the regular size ones give the nice warm vape as the little Ultimates?

Chillax, I am on a steep learning curve! Only been 'vaping' for a week but so far so good- nil fags!!! Our clearomizers are apparently xxl and they do hold a good amount of juice. Have cleaned them out 3 times (we had a problem with mine when first cleaning but hubby fixed it after 6 goes of taking it apart and putting it all back). I do loosen the clear bit whilst attached to the battery but then take it off the battery before removing the clear tube completely. Very gently rinse the 'white fronds' in warm water then rinse the rest of it. I then let it dry a bit on kitchen towel and dap it off to completely dry. Putting it back together, we found you have to be v careful not to trap the end of the fronds in the tube. Then before filling, zap them with the battery on for a few bursts to burn off the juice remnants, it does glow red when its clear. As I say so far so good! We did get 2 spare tubes and I am ordering some spare clearomizers tomorrow.

i would suggest removing the top silicone seal first that goes on top of the coil.... then you can carefully wiggle the clearo apart by pulling on the bottom with a battery attached. cate the battery off and then wash it carefully in some hot water... dry the wick and clear tube with a paper towel then reassemble in reverse just be very careful of those tiny wires all clearos have warm vape as the coil is at the top near the mouth peice

Ian 109 and myself made these successfully last 3 to 4 months and only threw them away as the wick started looking a little tatty. Yours are better built than the originals we used fi. Aslong as you keep on top cleaning them every 3 or 4 days they should last you a while yet but as what has already been said always carry spares
