Moving to America

Hi guys,

After a year of jumping through their hoops my visa has been approved   it's been a long and at times stressful process. Plan on moving mid may, should get the visa in hand next week fingers crossed. Had the courier collect my passport to take to the Embassy yesterday.

Moving to Phoenix AZ, so should be sunshine for most of the year    I will still frequent the forum so you're not getting rid of me lol.

Hope I can get Snake Oil delivered to me there  ??? but I suppose there will be lots of eliquids to try out there.

Congrats at getting things sorted, it can be a bit of a hurdle moving to another country.

No job lol I married an American   so it's a permanent residence visa

Best of luck to you buddha. As jess mentioned, newdawn is in the throws of moving back - but she's the American married to a Brit. Hope both of your respective moves go smoothly and you can share new found suppliers with each other

YAY!!! Congratulations! They're right buddha, my OH was approved for his fiancé visa two weeks ago and it arrived via courier last Friday. They don't half drag out the process, huh?

We'll have to go through more hoops once we get to America. Moving over June 16th and getting married July 5th. No pressure. lol Must be married within 90 days of arrival and then apply for an adjustment in status to get the same visa as yours. He can't apply for work until they grant the visa adjustment, so it'll be October before my OH can seek employment. By then it will have been 11 months from when we sent the first round of applications in.

I was worried about Snake oil stock as well, but turns out we can get it shipped to America for only a couple of quid more than we're already paying here. Result! I've got a pinterest board filling up with all sorts of Yanky suppliers for gear and mixing supplies. Give a shout if you're struggling to find something and hopefully I'll have a link for you.

Thanks newdawn, originally I was going to apply for a K visa, then my now wife Denise said she would like to come to England. Denise has been here three years now.
