I purchased one of these hana modz dna clones from m-vapes
Ordering and delivery was hassle free and next day
Price was £69.95 delivered which is double the price of the farcetech unit
But I'm very happy with it and I'll try and explain why

This is the fasttech version, it comes complete with fake logo



I had to do a repair to this unit to get it to work, that screw in the center of the pic wasn't holding the terminal ring and I had to cut and fit a brass washer to get a decent contact and as you can tell there is a large amount of shoddy hot glue residue within the box



Side by side with the m-vapes clone and you can see that the m-vapes one is logo free- big win for me
The ft unit is slightly fatter and the m-vapes is slightly longer. Look closely at the micro usb on both and you can see that the ft one was fitted by a five year old



Now with the backs removed- what a difference! everything is neat and compact.
Look closely at the battery holders and you'll see that the ft one has been trimmed down to allow the back to fit and looks quite messy but is still very functional I have to admit.



You can see here the difference in the box design, the m-vapes one has a much better design at the top, it's far more rigid.



Seen better here from a side on view, look how the attie over hangs on the ft one



The ft ones came with no instructions but the m-vapes came with this comprehensive sheet AND given that there is no reverse battery protection in either of these mods the m-vapes one had a warning sticker inside the battery holder informing about battery orientation Putting a battery in the wrong way round WILL fry the chip.



Another major difference for me was the that on the ft one, when the display is off the mod is off. You have to tap a button to awaken the mod before you can vape which can annoy the buggery out of you!
The m-vapes version gives instant power the moment the button is hit.
It's a far better build quality, much much neater unit.
Very pleased with this purchase, I know some may find it a little expensive compared to the fasttech option but I really think that you are getting a much better dna clone for your money

Hana mods 2nd batch have arrived with me and will be listed later on today.
They are raw aluminum finish no logo as requested to be made for me especially.
The reason for this is because the original silver anodized ones when scratched nothing can be done to remove the scratch without removing the anodized coating which is very tricky.
The raw ones can be brushed or satin finished etc.. much easier.

I was expecting them to look raw and have to give each one a satin finish myself but actually upon looking at them they are machined from a solid billet piece of aluminum with a diamond tip so have the really nice diamond cut finish.

for those that are unfamiliar with diamond cut finish, they are bright aluminum with very uniform fine lines in them where they have been machined by the diamond tip and because it is billet aluminum they have a slight rainbow refection due to the diamond cut these really look stunning, reminds me of the diamond cut dishes on bbs wheels.
