I have been using cotton works really nice.
Tried the dental floss much better.
Had the square arrive that unfortunately has a leak one the plastic windows to the metal case bit so people be ware of this from fasttech.
But all in all 2 out of 3 clone tanks work beautifully and the 2 nemisis bother work fine even though they are different lengths.
Regards

An easy fix for the o rings is dental floss. Take the o rings off and put 2 or 3 wraps of floss where they go and then put the o ring back on. Guaranteed tight fit and no leaks As for the screws personally I don't have any of them in my kraken and I run it single coil. I think it helps it to wick better if the screws are gone Many thanks for the advice will try the dental floss Did I mention my kraken vaps like a bitch lol

Well at long last my Nemisis and Kraken have arrived from fast tech, have to say pretty impressed with it. Did my first rebuild got coils to 0.7 with 0.28 gauge wire and 7 wraps on dual core with cotton vaps very nice.
I had 2 little complaints on the Kraken :
1. The 'O' rings do not seem tight enough as glass tank is quite loose. 2. One of the negative screws the stamping is to faint to get screwdriver in, also the wick holes are missing the screws
Dont suppose anyone has any spares o rings or spare the screws.

hi all Just a newbie question how long does a homemade coil last I knopw you need to change the cotton etc but the actual coil how long A month is about right for a micro coil at >1.0ohm, I vape around 0.2-0.3 so a coil generally lasts me a week or sometimes less. As for your wick I like to change mine every other day, I'd definitely say once a week at least. thanks southbay

Sigh, why can't things just stay shiny. Better get the brasso out, and certainly before Vapefest. Got to be looking her best! Hi southbayCan't you spray it with a lacquer to stop oxidation

I have only tried a few hence asking for some to taste and been really pleased with people sending me their old ones to try.
My next phase will be to try to make some (cant at moment as money is short and wife watches me like a ********* hawk lol) looking forward to having a go, reading what i can from the forums, and probably asking a load of dumb questions but it is the only way to learn.
Regards
