I've noticed that if you order from FT and order batteries, your only postal option is Malaysia post. Is Malaysia post any better/faster etc than China post? Just wondering if it is, is it worth always sticking a battery or two in with your order

A lot of carriers are now refusing to transport batteries, I think Malaysia is one of the few that still do

My last 6 orders from ft have been 2 with each- China Post, Singapore Post, and Malaysia Post. Singapore Post beat Malaysia Post to me by a day on the first occasion, then the opposite with Malaysia Post beating them by 2 days. China Post has always come 2nd or 3rd, but only by a day. I think the speed relies on clearing customs at there end, random would be the best description. I've stopped counting the days. I always split my orders up so if their is a delay only part of my stuff is held up.

I had 2 orders from FT - Shipped by Singapore Mail.
On the Singapore website, says 'Despatched to GB' on 6th Match. arrived at Heathrow UK 27th March.
Doesnt take 3 weeks to fly from Singapore, probably stuck at customs in Singapore.
Be interesting how long my batteries come from Malaysia.

Just noticed that for $1.00 you can choose Swiss post, only if you don't have batteries. The estimated arrival is only 2 days less but I might give them a go just to see if they are any faster. I think it will have to wait until I'm doing a split order and do one through Malaysia and one through Swiss then we can let the race begin haha
