Got myself a 18350 protected efest. Silly question I know but, which way to put the battery in? It feels somewhat 'snug' when pushed half way in, is that normal?
Thanks guys
Hcigar hammer by the way

Don't have one of those ... But some batteries are noticeably fatter than others .... I've got a couple that won't fit my nemesis clones ... Pain in the arse...

I was talking to an old friend last weekend whom I haven't seen for an age... turns out he's been vaping about the same time as me but still using clearos - Introduced him to Snake Oil, Spotted Dick, Kayfun and Expromizer... Someone else mentioned that it would be cool to have an e-pipe and asked if there were such things... I pulled up a picture of a Kayfun on a Hammer on my phone... Conversation ensued and I think I'll be showing my mate how to coil at some point soon.... He then emailed me to say that he nearly spent monies on a Hammer and Kayfun clones (possibly Kayfun for real)... So, having missread the email (gosh - he's even more impulsive than me) I did a little research on the hammer clones (I know them originals are hard to source in the UK) and found that some clones have a bit of a voltage drop due to poor springs... Solution is to wander into your local locksmiths, beg to purchase a couple of brass Squire lock springs, double them up (so lots of metal contact - same principle as fat kanthal = low resistance) and replace the thin SS spring... Thought I'd share that, chris, in case it's useful.... Oh - topically, ten minutes or so ago he posted a pic of a Hammer and Kayfun in front of a keyboard - no idea if it's his or not but feeling a little envious of you both (but I MUST NOT BUY MORE FOR A WHILE or we will be BEYOND QUESTIONS BEING ASKED (the hint is in capitalisation)). Hope you find suitable batteries.

And Chris only bought his because he couldnt leave mine alone at the york meet last weekend lol p.s mines set up with a genuine kayfun lite plis

I was thinking about your p.s. (and I missread plis as pls or please)... and it ties into a thought I had today... I've bought various bits, genuine, replicas and clones... And I think about it... My most treasured are my KFL+ and KF3.1 (both genuine) - Not sure if it's because the design, because they are genuine or because I spent more than on these than anything else... So much want a mech that I treasure so (not that I do the polishing / surface tlc thing - maintenance is all about functionality for me).
