Not sure if this is in the right place soz in advance if not
But need help in deciding what to buy Stopped smokin cigs in jan and bought a cheap £10 all in ego kit from newsagents Atomiser broke a couple of month later so went to a local vape shop and got a mini protank to use with my ego-u battery But it's crap heating coil only lasting 2/3 week.Since found out its a copy (paid £9 so not sure if I got done or not) Battery always dies around 9 at night guaranteed a crap toke for an hour before it goes and to be honest it's hit and miss through the day as to how much vapour and throught hit ( I think you call it) you get I want to spend some money on something decent but my heads up my **** as to what to get Don't wana go stupid spending over £100 but want somert good Not sure if that's possible? Don't wana spend like £60 to have to spend more again in 12 month (of course there will be maintenance but don't wana have to replace main unit) O and I love a gadget haha
Sorry for the long post

hiya and welcome, rest assured you dont have to spend big bucks to get a satisfying system, theres plenty of reasonable gear that will do you well -- though many of us here like to spend money!! Variable wattage/voltage may be more suitable for you -- and having two batteries is much easier (thats why many starter kits come with two - 1 to use, 1 to charge) then theres a range of tanks to suit all, and most are pretty cheap 1st things first, lets see if we can help you with good solid gear, after that you can do what many of us do -----order from China and wait weeks but get loads of stuff for a few quid

Hello and c1boothYou really do need 2 batteries so you can vape one while the other charges. Attys, clearos etc really are disposable items, so if the one you had lasted a couple of months it did well. The Protank has replaceable heating coils, again 2-3 weeks is probably about right for those. something like this would probably suit you myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.html

Looks like it's time to step up to a variable voltage or variable wattage device ... ( vv/vw )... They come in all shapes and sizes ... If you don't mind the box style of device have a look at the innokin range ... If you want to go down the tubular route you can't go wrong with a v5 Vamo ...
Whatever you choose, you can order from UK vendors and get them in a couple of days or order from a Chinese site like Fasttech .... About 2/3 to half the price but a 4-5 week wait

I'm sure Super-Shiny will be along in a minute with his vey helpful beginner's shopping guide. The key is going to be having back-ups - don't spend all of your money on one thing, but have a couple of batteries so you can swap them when one runs low, and several clearomisers so you can have a couple of flavours on the go. The coils in the clearomisers wear out, and need changing every so often. The length of time depends on the model you buy and the juice you vape. This needs to be factored in to your spending. 2-3 weeks is pretty good for a coil! The good news is that you don't have to replace the whole unit with most of the better clearos out there, just the coil unit.

Hi thanks for your advice but can you tell me what this means from the description There are 2 different tubes with Vamo V5, which you choose to use 1pc of 18650 battery, 2pcs of 18350 batteries, or only 1pc of 18350 battery Also is this a copy or original from this site?

The Vamo is... well, the Vamo. There was never an "original" maker so to speak. I have one. It's excellent but also BIG. Have a look at the iTasteVV on there.... nice, and small too myepack.co.uk/kits/itaste-vv-v3-o.html

Mods like the Vamo can take two different sized batteries ... 18350s are the short stubby versions of 18650s... It comes with different screw on sections so you can choose what batteries you wart to use ... The Vamo is quite light sabre ish in 18650 mode ... But they last longer
