Has it changed recipes? Just recieved my 30ml bottle. The liquid is much thinner and a multitude of shades lighter. Ie cream vs dark amber coloured. I haven't tried it yet as I'll leave it to rest for 48 hours.

It probably needs some steeping Sam as you say . . . I know Griz mixes his juices to order, so your's is probably hot off the press, so to speak.

Do I need to steep it in anything or just leave it in the bottle to mature like a fine wine?

You could take the dropper off to allow the air to get to the mix better Sam, other than that nothing special . . . just not in direct sunlight ( some hope ) or near to a heat source.

As Perpy says Sam, just leave it a day or two.
Also, most e-liquid darkens when exposed to light, so you will find that freshly mixed liquids are often a lot lighter than those that have been in use for a while.

Oxidization isn't it Jason? I found an Arry Tank kicking around in my locker at work today, the juice is almost a Creosote colour . . . tastes fine though, haven't keeled over yet either.

The couple of attempts I made at mixing I stood a 5ml bottle in a cup of hot water as I'd heard of folk micro waving mixes for a few seconds, not a good idea then P?

Ermm, no Scooter. Heat can make juices go rancid for want of a better word . . . although if you use VG and Menthol Crystals, you'd need to heat the mix in either the microwave or in hot water for the crystals to dissolve, otherwise they'll just sit in VG doing nothing. Similarly, some flavourants can crystallize ( TW Doppio Expresso for one ) so before using you need to zap them for a few seconds to loosen the liquid up. But as a general rule, heat & sunlight do your juices no favours.

Yes, that's the one Perpy. Although not all liquids are the same. I've had a couple of bottles sat on my desk for a few weeks now and they haven't changed at all. I'm assuming that some manufacturers must add some kind of stabiliser or something. Personally, I'd rather it change colour and have less additives in it.
