Interesting comments.

Personally I think, for me, that the reason I don't have any cravings for vaping is that I always have plenty of juice and battery life wherever I am and invariably leave the house with a full tank and newly charged battery. So no need to crave.
And if out all day I have a spare battery with me.

If in a tizzy over something I know I can up the power to the "blow the hair out the back of my neck" setting and get through it like that.

As to having a fag if I was ever caught without a means of using my own gear, well I only ever smoked for the nicotine and I only vape today because of the nicotine and the cost, so for the price of a few pounds for an afternoon on ciggies, well that wouldn't bother me. I am already hooked but I prefer vaping to smoking.
With vaping I don't have a sore throat, a smelly car or a dirty house. So there is no way that I would choose to stay on fags. They really would only do in an extreme emergency and then for as short a time as possible.

I worked most of my latter life in a place where I wasn't allowed to smoke.
A place full of very nasty Whizz Bangs, capable of killing thousands, if not millions and so, my work would have been pleasanter if I had given up smoking.
I tried on many occasions over a long period of time and failed every time, so I'm afraid, for me, I know that if I cannot vape, then it is back to smoking for me.
It is with this in mind that I am laying up a goodly supply for the future, but I thought it would be interesting to know what others thoughts are on today's situation and if, circumstances arising, would we smoke just to get through to where we could vape again.

Personally I don't see any difference between smoking and vaping apart from the obvious costs, health and lifestyle benefits. It's still nicotine inhaled by mouth and it rather looks like future restrictions by law may well view vaping in a similar vein.

I would head to the nearest M+S and buy a tin of mints and be grumpy all day....

If I needed a vape that the mints couldn't help with then it'd be the nearest poundshop and 3 disposables (menthol)

The disposable I got wasn't as awful as I expected it to be, I suspect if I'd gone for the tobacco flavoured one it would have been a different story. At only £1 though it was still a better option than buying stinkies.

Hmm, an interesting question lobeydosser.
I would like to think that I am never far from my back-up kit which I take everywhere, this includes a fully charged Spinner and at least one Protank full of juice. I always have a spare battery with me too if away from the house for more than the expected life of the cully charged one inserted before locking the front door.
I would have to find a cig-a-like I think, although I'm not at all keen on them, but where needs must.
I have had 3 fags since quitting and only one of these was after a drink or 6. They were all foul, and like DiscoDes I don't think I could now physically smoke one.
Let's hope none of us ever need to try out these opinions!!

Although many of the local shops here sell cig-a-likes, where we go on holiday with our caravan tends to be out of the way places which tend to be bereft of such luxuries as M&S, Poundshops and the like and the most likely shops will be newsagents, cafes and perhaps, in the bigger villages, a Spar shop.

Hence my recent purchase of a Billet Box, simply to have some form of back up especially when we are out walkabout in strange places.

Och the Billet Box is very "bling", but I find it handy for slipping in a pocket and although heavy, it is neat.

If I was somewhere where wearing an e-cig on a lanyard would be out of place, then the Billet Box would be the main unit. My Itaste mvp or one of these smaller box mods would be the back up.

It's happened to me three times,
1st time I nabbed a cig, took two drags and put it out,
2nd n 3rd time I used nic gum, which I keep in my coat pocket anyhow, until I could get to shop and buy something.

Tobacco cigarettes are revolting to me so there's no chance I would smoke them. I'd just go without until I got home. I find it's not so bad like it was with fags. If I'm occupied I can go without a vape for 6 hours without even really thinking about it, and I was a hardcore smoker 3 fags in a 15 min break kind of person. So I think there's something different about it, at least in my case. Sometimes I leave my stuff at home when I go out for an evening as I can't be bothered to take it with me. I do take stuff out in the day though, 1 18350 batt in a mech mod and an atty full of juice, no spares or anything like that.

Maybe I'd use a cig a like if I was stuck for a full day and evening somewhere. They're really crap though, no throat hit, miserable taste and a pathetic amount of vapour.
