If you were caught short?

If you were out for the day and you did not have anything spare with you and your PV or whatever went kaput, what would you do?

Would you hunt around for a shop that sold cig-a-likes or would you just buy a pack of fags and a box of matches to do you until you got home?

Normally if I am away from home I have some sort of spare with me, but, if needs must, I'm not sure what I would buy to tide me over until I could get back to my supply.

I don't go out of the house with loads of back up - but if really everything would go - I would go to the next supermarket and buy an ecig - certainly no stinkies

I would have to find a cig alike shop ! Think I would cry iff i actually had to smoke ! Faing that I would have to kill the kids or something as I would be demented ..

I was on a 12hr nightshift and i had picked up a used ego battery instead of a fully charged one, I couldnt get a vape all night. I knew i had a half packet of cigs in my car.... i was very tempted but i didnt !!

It has happened to me last year, and I was fortunate that I found a vape shop to buy spares from. I was panicking not because it didn't work, but because I didn't want to feel like I had to smoke.

I'd like to think now that Id just go without - I can't imagine smoking again. I'd be a bloody nightmare to be around though...

Most pound shops and Home bargains etc sell cig a likes. I had to resort to that when I picked up a battery that was dead instead of a charged one. It was awful, but for £1 it put me on until I could get home and get a proper battery. It was just one of the disposable ones so i went for menthol thinking it had to be better than any of their 'tobacco' flavours.

I'd go without too. I find that the craving to vape is much less than the craving to smoke.

If I'd gone abroad and my vape gear blew up I'd probably smoke.....but rush back to vaping when I got home. TBH I see it now as two styles of getting my nicotine fix. One I like and one I don't, as after 30 years smoking I'd just assume a few days of ciggies (which would taste vile) would be OK for me as I wouldnt want to become a smoker again.

Psychological as nicotine is a similar dependence to caffeine. I can just about
Cope without coffee for a day, I won't be happy about it though, unless I substitute with
Beer.

I think I would do without as long as possible if too long I would get a cig-a-like too easy to say just have one with stinkies and get hooked again. I prefer vaping though so hopefully wouldn't get hooked.

Yes i find that too. When i smoked and i was somewhere i couldnt smoke, all i would think about is my next fag. With vaping its not like that.

I tried one last month Spikey...  2 puffs and I threw it away, it was revolting!
