Started using mech mods approx two weeks ago and I tell ya they're fab. The size in 18350 mode is perfect for out and about The solid build and pure simplicity is The designs are lovely Building low ohms ( not sub ohms ) has really given my vape that something extra I'm a fully converted mech man, given my unused SVD , pro tanks, Iclears to my bro to help him quit ciggies . My fave without a doubt is the astro, nemesis second. Buying another mod today , might try mvapes. Time for second pint of ale ( meantime London porter not bad)

London Porter is delicious, but see if they do bottles of the coffee porter - two of my favourite things in one glass, it's heavenly. And if you're in a pub, try the Meantime Pale Ale - it's so drinkable it's dangerous! I work next to the meantime brewery Strangely enough, I've been using unkicked mech mods this week and I love them. I've just bought a jm16, waiting on delivery from Poland.

see guys what have I been harping on about since I destroyed one too many vamos LOL At one time you had a simple choice - cig a like (even though it wasn't called that) or mech mod. Most people pretty quickly ended up on mech mod... I really don't get the 'oh they're too geeky for me' or whatever it is. They are cheap. There is little to go wrong in them and they work My first proper e-cig was a mech mod with 14500 batteries from LF (cheap plastic thing but tiny) as that was all I could afford. I then progressed to a screwdriver clone handmade in Notts (when mod makers were your best buddy). That I dropped on a bus snaking from Glasgow to skye that summer. It survived...it was my only e-cig with me. It had to LOL

He means a 30amp capable battery that can safely handle very low sub ohm coils. Now you can safely boil your juices

@purple1234 - what topper do use use on your astro in 18350 mode? I have a nemmy and taifun gt for at home but have an astro en route from fastech which I plan to use in tiny mode for out and about - was thinking of just using an iclear 30s but just compared it to the GT - about the same size i.e BIG! Or is the astro so small in 18350 mode that a big atty is still ok for carrying about?

Now you can safely boil your juices I have a pair of the Sony batteries for their high drain capabilities, but the Panasonic NCR18650PF at 2900mAh outlast them and at 10A still fine for 1ohm. Just wish they made and equivalent to them in 18500 size.

Thanks @purple1234 - nice photo I think I'll invest in the nano kit for the GT when it comes out - hope it looks as nice as the kayfun nano kit! Meanwhile its just the long wait for the astro to arrive from FT...
