Looks like you got the start of the dodgy #3's , not quite dodgy but getting there, mine they just lifted that pen a bit earlier still. I managed to get reels that the label was applied fully on the reel though unlike yours.
From your photo it looks like the label since being applied to the reel has got wet ?

Hate to say I've not had much luck recently with an order from them (in my case directly not via ebay). I'm still waiting on a reel that was missed from my first order I'm giving them another day then I'll try emailing again to see where it's gone.

I can't get to my work emails at the moment... (Which I should be worried about as I look after those servers... ah well oncall's problem not mine!) but I think it took them 2 days to reply, with a promise that the missing item would be sent out. What got me was the tone of the email, as well as the missing item I asked what the colours meant on the reels that had been shipped. Got "it's on the website" but then they explained it. Funnily enough unless I'm looking in the wrong place I've just double checked and can't see any mention of colour = which wire. For a first time order from this particular company I'm not sure if I'll be ordering from there again first impressions and all that.... Shame as the prices are good and they had fairly good write ups.

Although I have had issues with orders not being sent correctly, they have always been very helpful getting it sorted and usually make up for their mistakes..
Give this guy a call and explain the situation, he will get it sorted for you.

How very rude, their customer support being awful is my experience too.
I will not be ordering from them again, as I do not wish a repeat of my experience, or to have one like you have had.

Chris Platt (General manager) 01925 406602 Their prices are super cheap and that makes me wonder if it's not a small operation in a big place. They responded to me no bother, helpful and polite too. It seems to be the case with most though, they just get bad days most likely.

No, the reel doesn't have a slot to catch the wire in, so I have just lifted a corner to trap the trailing end. The crease at the top is where the wire was trapped in transit.

I'm sure I've read that the vaping side of things is a very small part of a large operation; I believe they supply wire in thousands of metres at a time, so 25m on a small spool is indeed small beer. No excuses for their shoddy customer service, but they could survive quite nicely without our trade, although they are making a real go of vaping supplies on their websites.

Snip the edge of the plastic spool with some scissors/pliers. Job done. - - - Hopeless marking though, agreed on that. ???

The original company is the mesh company, only supplying mesh & I think the A4 sheets we used to get were actually sample sheets. Then some bright spark discovered what it was being used for & obviously decided to bundle in the wire, & once they'd got the wire crafting & beading followed next, but yeah I think the bulk of their business is still the mesh for industrial sale.

Thank you, I see what you mean. AS DJS says, (or hacksaw) slot diagonally opposite direction to travel of wire when unwrapping it'll hold the wire easily then. I ordered from themeshcompany they just send with label one of their other domain names.
