Hi, I was about to purchase a Vamo V5 with an aspire nautilus tank, but seeing clearer pictures for its size, im having second thoughts, any suggestions for which i should get? Are there any promotions currently running for a good unit? I know very few people with ecigs, so havent really got to try many.
As for e liquids, the choices are overwhelming, which are the most popular vendors? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

kingkrish - hi and welcome to the forum! If you introduce yourself on the beginners thread and ask the same question you may get some more information and advice. The Vamo is a great tool for vaping, but I will admit it's a bit on the large size! If you are new, then the new Spinner 2 is worthy of consideration - it's Variable Voltage so that you can adjust the power setting according to the atomiser or juice that you are using. It now comes with a 3-light power level reading too, so that you can see how much charge is left. 1600mah will be more than enough for a full day's vaping though! You can find it here Spinner 2 - this vendor is highly rated by many of us here, and personally I have used them quite a few times and never had any problems.

Personally you probably can't go wrong with a variable voltage itaste vv or an innoken mvp. I think both are available on myepack.co.uk website? Have a look and see what you think.

You could do a lot worse than to pick up a couple of iClear 16s from the same place; they are great little atomisers, can be fitted with replacement heads for about £1.75 each, and these heads will last for a good few weeks before dying on you! There is also the Mini Protank, which have glass tanks so you have no worries about juices we refer to as 'tank crackers'; some juices can eat into the polycarbonate tanks causing them to crack or even disintegrate, but Pyrex tanks like the MPT are as safe as houses. A Spinner or 2 + a USB charger, and a couple of iClear 16s with replacement heads will set you back about £60, but will keep you vaping for a good few months before you need to buy anything else apart from the odd head.. As far as juice is concerned, where to start!? Two suppliers who are highly regarded on this forum are T-Juice and JooseJuice - both do excellent juices in a variety of strengths and flavours. Other site you might like to peruse are The Alchemist's Cupboard and LTEcigsAs to which juice to start with; I started with something called RY-4 - this is tobacco with notes of vanilla and caramel. Don't think that you will need to stick with tobacco flavours exclusively though, there are many other flavours which are very popular too. Tobacco is notoriously difficult to replicate, and for this reason alone many vapers soon move on to fruits, menthols (even if they hated menthol ciggies) and some of the more complex dessert flavours. Buy in small quantities first until you find something that you like, but be aware that your tastebuds will change over the first 4-6 weeks and so will your preferences, so it's not a good idea to stock up on a flavour which you may go off quite quickly. Hope this helps a bit, and feel free to ask any more questions, no matter how stupid you think they are - we've all been at your stage and can help and guide you to a good setup which will get you off the analogues

I'll throw a spanner in the works and say that the Vamo in 18350 mode isn't too humungous for out and about . . . with some larger 18650 batteries as well, you've the best of both worlds kingkrish. I'd buy your batteries and charger separately though, to get better quality items than that come in the kits, which is where the MVP scores as you don't need those. Welcome to you.

I recommend the innokin itaste VTR, I have ben using mine for three months now, and once you have the settings to your taste, you get the same vape every time. Of course you may have to change settings for different juices, but that would apply to all VV/VW units. Click here for the VTR

I just went to a local ecig store that stocks the Itaste MVP2 , VTR and SVD, but not the Vamo. They liked to laugh when i mentioned Vamo, but I assume thats just because they dont sell it.
I did notice a small difference in the MVP2 and VTR, from the 2 VTR was my favourite, but the weight is whats scaring me, Im ok with it now, but am i gonna start leaving it at home because of the weight, the MVP2 i dont think the battery is enough for me and i prefer the tank being tucked inside like the VTR has.
Im aware fo the Vamos interchangeable sizes with 18650 or 18350, but i was told a 350 wont be enough battery so id need to carry a spare or charge 1-2times a day.
So now I think I should maybe get the VTR for now and then something like a spinner 2 or similar later for when i dont want the weight on me.
Thanks for all the help.
Now i need to start the next step which is eliquids.

After looking around I think I'm gonna order from Joose Juice with there BOGOF and discount and great reviews, it seems like a great deal.
Could you suggest some choices of flavours for me?
Also I have no idea what PG/VG ratio I would need. If my analog habit is anything to go by, i smoke Marlboro Lights or B&H Silvers, 7-10 a day.

hi and welcome kingkrish good choice to try joosejuice - I have gone off tobacco flavours - but their caramel blend is nice here is another usefull vendor smokeraibow where you can try loads of different flavours - specially if you add one of those cheap drip tips of them or 3 for £ 9 of here - if you don't buy the 3 you need to add the mouth piece
