Modded my £1.60 atty from TW

I got one of the DDA's from totally wicked, the £1.60 job. it was ok but nothing special other than super cheap.

I figured I could do better so I got stuck in. I ripped the little tube out that sits below the coil and jammed a little screw in, then I cut the screw flush with the deck.

I then coiled and wicked it



And lined up the top cap and drilled a 2mm hole in line with the coil





This thing is now verging on awesome lol, total cloud machine with a 0.7 ohm coil. The vape isn't super hot or anything and the flavour is spot on. I'm pretty chuffed with it.

It just goes to show there is a lot of hype and mystique attached to a lot of expensive atties. It seems to be about small vape chambers and air flow onto the coil, nice one enjay I must give it a go on the mini version of this (I bought three)

enjay, did you try it just with the extra airhole, before sealing the one in the deck? Was thinking of trying this just by drilling an extra hole....

Personally, i modded mine by sticking a cocktail stick in the hole and breaking it off. If you dont do this, the dripper will leak and spare juice through the original air hole.

Also, the top cap is very soft and easy to drill through

fair point, I've just not had any airhole leakage as yet

Yeh, as the twins from London says, leakage. Besides it doesn't looks like an easy task trying to drill it all out when a simple hole in the top cap does the trick.

..hmmmm.... twins...... twin airholes (original plus new one)...

..and why isn't mine leaking from the (single original) airhole ??

i suspect that you havent over filled it. In my ones, i have a micro coil and a small bit of cotton that touches the base to mop up any eliquid but i found that a few drops too many, and it would leak.

Either way, i fond the new air hole made a huge difference to the vape and seeing the coil glow is a nice bonus too!

Funny thats the same little dripper i have for testing mixes and did the exact same as you did!

Was an awfull tight draw without it dont you think,if you get another dont get the red one haha its not red its more pink hence why i use it in the house i dare not leave with it!
