I knew what I wanted. Didn't I?

Started out with beginner's Evod kit then found AAEC.

I knew I would stay with the Evods but enjoyed reading about all this exotic gear.

Before I list my other 'I knews' I'd better say that I am a sceptical, cynical opinionated old sod which might explain my attitude to the info I was reading.

I knew I wouldn't get fed up with the limitations of 650mah batteries. Just change them and stop moaning. Within 2 weeks I'm changing batteries 3 times a day and asking for advice on higher power devices.

I knew I wanted tobacco flavours. Read that a lot of starters soon change to other flavours. Not me I know what I want. Within 2 weeks I've ditched them and started on the fruit flavours.

I knew I wouldn't want to start mixing my own liquids. What a lot of faffing about. Just buy them. After 2 weeks I'd ordered my mixing supplies.

I knew I'd never buy a high priced device. Just buy 4 of the cheaper ones for the same money. After 4 weeks I bought a Provari.

I knew I'd never be a stealth vaper. Wave your biggun about in public you wimps. After 6 weeks I'd bought 3 stealth bases.

I knew I wouldn't be having several flavours on the go at any one time.  Find a couple that you like and stick with them. Now I have 7 flavours on the go with more waiting.

I knew I'd only need a couple of tanks. Why don't you just change them over when you change flavours? Now I have 5 tanks with 2 more on the way.

I knew I would never vape menthol. I hate menthol. It's disgusting in tobacco and must be a horrible vape. Got vaper's tongue and thought well I'll try it. Now it's one of my ever present flavours.

So thank you all for your great advice and patience with us newbies.

I still won't be making my own coils though. I won't. I won't. I definitely won't Tease-smiley

I think that is probably all of us. If only we knew at the beginning of the journey we could avoid buying stuff and go straight into quality straight away. But hey guess that's part of the fun.

smifee - GREAT insight into the mind of a new vaper - I am at your stage 3 at the moment - just received 8 flabours & waiting for 20 more (only 2 tobaccos in all of them)
