I don't think I've ever had a £50 note - if someone wants to send me one of the old ones (preferably before they stop being legal tender) just so I can experience it, i will happily PM them my address

I haven't seen a £50 note for years! Many many many years ago, I used to run the office for a restaurant, and everyone was paid cash. I used to handle tonnes of notes, not nearly enough of them were mine though

I haven't seen a £50 note for years! Many many many years ago, I used to run the office for a restaurant, and everyone was paid cash. I used to handle tonnes of notes, not nearly enough of them were mine though I remember those days when you got paid cash in a little brown wage packet. I wasn't overjoyed at receiving my wage though, my heart sank if there were a few £50 notes in it, trying to get rid of them was a nightmare.
