What's the point of 26650 mods ?

Is it me ...?....

i just oust don't get the point of these giant 26650 mods ...

the batteries are still only the same voltage as 18650s ... But just fatter ... Yes , I know they will hold more charge but there's really nothing wrong with 18650s .... Just don't really see the point .... Am I missing something obvious here ?

Well they had all these redundant batteries knocking about and had to come up with a plan to use them

Got to say, not for me. Maybe they've been told to find a way to shift as many 26650 batteries as they sell 18650 ???

The first 26650 was made by a mod maker called faceless, done as a bit
of a joke as some people were complaining that his previous device was too small.
Its kind of snowballed from there.
