What is the procedure when paying in advance using paypal and receiving receipt from them
I keep checking back to the so called vendors website and it daily says coming soon! Its been a few weeks (payment went through 29th March) and no mention anywhere of dates when expected. Though it says also check face book which I don't use. I have emailed the vendor ? with details asking for at least an indication of roughly when I can expect it. Guess what no courtesy of a reply.
I have holidays planned sooner or later and don't want to miss delivery. Also I feel it is reasonable to expect to be kept informed.
Have to say I aint impressed and this is the first and last time from any vendor.
The irony and piss take is a few days ago I received an email asking if I could give a review/ rating etc.
Am I being unreasonable as I have parted with my money in good faith?

i would certainly cantact the vendor and ask them whats going on,if you dont get a reasonable del. date from them i would ask for a refund as waiting a month for an item without any update from a seller is not on

This is one issue with pre-ordering items, sometimes it can be out of the vendors control. They could however have replied to your email and kept you updated as to when they would expect the product to arrive with them according to whoever they have ordered it from. The review/rating email could have been sent out automatically as a lot of website have that facility.
My advice would be to give the company a ring as ask them when they expect to receive the product and be able to dispatch it, this would allow you to either sit tight or ask for a refund.

I think it`s just a way of financing a big quantity order, so they are waiting for their numbers of buyers to reach the quota so they can push the BUY button with the suppliers.

Have to agree with you. Mind you according to remainder left they were all sold before the 29th March What a way to finance a transaction.
I had thought of phoning but I want everything in writing.
I tell you mate I will in future only order if in stock and will start buying good quality clones. This pre order malarkey seems to be on the increase! What infuriates me is they don't even reply. Needn't say they didn't get it either as it wasn't bounced back. Never again.
Can I lodge a complaint with PP and request finance returned.

I think Fasttech do it all the time, so frustrating. They dont even call it a pre-order, they just say "Ships in 15 days" , if they aint got it, they shouldn`t flog it ...... barstools

I will never deal with them again. I had a very poor experience with them on a "Pre-Order" They have appalling customer service. There were many others that had bad service from them over on UKV. I am sure you will get your order eventually, just don't expect any updates, or replies to queries.

Send the vendor a written statement that you are cancelling the order (stating that the reason is too long a wait), then file with pp as soon as possible. Without a written cancelation it could go on for a while.

Whos the vendor and whats an MV? edit. MV = mids vaping? No more beating around the bush, yes I had an appalling experience with Midlands Vaping and have vowed never to deal with them again. They had many opportunities to update me but many of my emails were ignored and several phone calls either went unanswered or voice-mail messages were ignored along with the promise of a return call which never materialised. This was after making an order of more than £304. We have many vendors on here that go that extra mile to help........unfortunately MV went the extra mile in the opposite direction.

Did you get the order in the end and if so, how long did you end up having to wait. ----
@ Jerri "Don't PP only give 30 days to file a claim now? " I'm sure I read that somewhere but haven't they recently changed the time period or such?
