Common Sense Disclaimer: I'm not a medical expert and it's best to err on the side of caution as Karma suggested.
That said, for what it's worth, I've gone through very similar issues, several times, both when switching to vaping AND when just plain quitting cigs cold turkey.
While vaping makes it feel significantly easier, the side effects of quitting tobacco stay largely the same.
So, purely based on personal experience and anecdotal evidence, I'd say it's more likely that these are symptoms of tobacco detox rather than an adverse reaction to PG or anything else. Especially since it sounds like you've been dual fueling for some time. Doubly so since you say the symptoms disappear when you smoke cigarettes again.
Keep in mind there's far more to cigarettes than just nicotine... really nicotine is just the scapegoat that gets all the blame, most of it unjustly. So even when using vaping as a substitute, you still have to expect to through some serious withdrawal and detox symptoms.
We've all heard the line about 4000+ chemicals in cigarettes, and it's very easy to tune that out and pretend it's just a number. But it's not. They contain a huge variety of poisons, all of which your body is used to having around by now. Suddenly removing them can easily cause all sorts of side effects.
A slightly less known fact is that tobacco also contains naturally occurring MAO-Inhibitors (aka: Anti-depressants), which is what really makes it so addicting. And, once again, dropping them is bound to take its toll.
In my experience, most of the symptoms disappear after 2-3 days... though some do linger for a couple of weeks or so.
Again, take this with a grain of salt and plenty of personal discretion, but my recommendation would be to just tough it out for a couple of days while staying off the cigs, and to try not to overcompensate with vaping too much. You're bound to vape more than usual while quitting, but you have to be careful not to overdo it.

Thank you very much...that makes perfect sense.....I have just swigged on some Milk Of Magnesia and continued to vape lol I have been duel fueling since September last year but now I have a better set up and have the juices nailed on, plus know what tanks I prefer etc...I feel the need now to go the whole hog.....hubby hasnt looked back since Sep last year and has found it very easy with the use of his Vamo...its now my turn to kick the cancer sticks ...so I will persevere with it....

maybe it is the strong flavors that are doing this..... It wouldn't surprise me Deb, as you do like your flavours extra strong . . . have you got some less potent to vape in the meantime, whilst you get a GP's appointment. Just to see if backing off a bit does help?

I agree a trip to the docs is definitely called for Debbie13 but in the meantime, Zantac, or any of the generic equivalents, should act as a prevention if you take one every morning They do say not to take for more than a week I think, so just to get you through to your doctor's appointment They say that but I've been on it for years, usually 300mg a day but have had to go up to 600 on occasion, gp's instructions of course lol

when i first started vaping i was getting small patches of what looked like heat lumps mostly on my wrists
I searched the internet and found a video from rip trippers about his journey through vaping, ill link it after this post
he spoke about PG allegies etc in it but finally realised it was the flavourings that were affecting him
now back to me, i was vaping all Joosejuice so decided it was worth a shot at changing vendors, so i started mixing my own juices primarily Kandi Hed concentrates, in for a penny and all that.
ive been 100% on my own juice @ 50/50 for about 1 month now and not 1 blemish on my wrist
I had talked myself into PG allergies and all that funky stuff ( you always fear the worst lol )
It could well be as simple as you are not suited to the manufacturers flavourings

I do have some flavorless ( to me ) juices.....my worry is that without any taste I will reach for a stinkie like I used to when I couldnt taste them.....still on some humbug which isnt super strong at all, more of a delicate flavor...but hey I can taste it ..I would count this as a less potent one for me....I cannot get in the docs as yet...bank holiday weekend has mucked that up....I will only see one of the docs there and its like trying to get blood out of a stone getting in with him...but I will keep trying

I have millions of juices, own mixing gear etc, I have changed the brand of juice already and kept away from the really strong ones that I love to vape but so far the acid carries on.......I will be gutted if it turns out to be my fave juices tho.....its taken me SO long to find the right ones so I can kick this half and half thing on the head, shall be having change arounds over the next few days and hope it sorts itself out

Cinnamon/Ginger the spicy flavours can cause reactions, maybe something more Caramel based. Still tasty but a little softer on the system?

Nothing caramel based...tastes like burnt something to me lol, still puffing on the humbug....still tasting it too...I have some peach, fruitish flavors etc..no ginger/cinnamon in them ones....I also have a Lime Menthol which is lush.....but sticking with this humbug one for now....well for about another couple of hours....then I shall have to move onto something else as that one will be all gone lol Plenty of fruity ones to keep me going while I keep off the really strong flavors....my hope is that with vaping so much minty ones I will get some taste back for the more delicate ones..... .....I gave in and had a stinkie this morning.....after glugging on some Pepto Bismol......OMG that stuff is vile...and I mean vile.....kept the heartburn away tho LOL LOL

I went through a phase some years ago of using nic patches. Apart from the skin irritation, they did reduce the need to smoke stinkies a bit, but not significantly. At one point while wearing a patch I submitted to the urge and lit a fag, and oh gosh it made me dizzy. Overdosing on nicotine. Similarly with vaping, you gotta take the choice to do it *instead of* stinkies, the combination of the two will only make you want to light up when the effect starts to wear off. And, pumping that amount of nic into your bloodstream that fast, isn't going to be good for you. Try to vape only. You'll feel much better for it very soon. Good luck.

Debbie13 drinking milk helps so much as the calcium content reacts with the acid so it becomes a neutral substance. Also some good advice in other posts about the whole detox effects. With the extra strong flavours you are using at the moment, just bear in mind that while you were dual-fuelling, your tastebuds would still be being bunged up (but possibly to less of a degree) by the contents of the smoke you were still inhaling. Cutting out the fags completely will help them kick back to life, and probably quickly too. You may well find over the next few weeks that your currently "strong" flavours could become overpoweringly strong as your tastebuds fully clear out. Just bear that in mind and maybe begin preparing your mixes a little weaker

LOL I found some more of the Humbug and have topped up and vaped that but am starting to want another flavor....I usually have at least 4 on the go so sticking to one is becoming hard work LOL
