I've been lurking here for a few months now and I've now decided to take the plunge!
I'm male, 63, divorced and retired, and I successfully swapped my 50 a day rollup habit for 36 mg nicotine solution about 2½ years ago. Initially (like many here, I'm sure) I used the Ego kit but then moved on to an ET Vision re-buildable. My current favourite is the Aga–T2 but I have just ordered 2 Kraken clones from FastTech as I fancy a dual coil/cotton wool set up.
My first mod was an extended ProVari Mini (in pink! – That was the only colour in stock anywhere in the UK at the time and my friend calls it the rampant rabbit ) It's still one of my favourites but I now also own an Itaste SVD, a Vamo V5 and an Itaste VTR – which is the dog's whatsits. I just ordered my first mechanical mod as I fancy a bit of sub-ohm vaping. I rationalise my spending as “stocking up” for when The Powers That Be finally decide to outlaw anything above about 14 mg and not contained in a stupid little disposable doobry, and not produced by some creepy multinational pharmacological/tobacco company. I give it about two years, and I'm an optimist... I will start another thread shortly to ask about bulk nicotine as I can't find a specific thread already posted.
Other hobbies include reading, real ale, photography, my narrowboat, campervan, Yamaha 400 Majesty motor scooter, real ale, and manking about with my PC and tablet.
I hope that I will contribute something of benefit to this forum, and I know already how valuable – and friendly – it is.
Oh yes, I'm a bit bonkers as well, just to warn you

willy9b Welcome to our forum, another Yorkie is always welcome, we are all as mad as hatters so you will be ok. As a prolific reader myself, what genre books do you read?

Oh yes, I'm a bit bonkers as well, just to warn you willy9b... the above means that you are 'normal' here. Just noticed you are in Batley... over 40 years ago I was sent on secondment from my peaceful Somerset quiet life to Ossett for training. My boss up there took me to Batley Variety Club one night to see Cliff Richard, together with 'chicken in the basket'. Life has never been the same!

Thanks for the warm welcome, folks Phoenix: Mainly thrillers; I've recently finished all Lee Child's 'Jack Reacher' novels (wow!) and am currently about half way through re-reading Martin Cruz Smith's 'Arkady Renko' series. If I am feeling a bit more serious, I'm partial to anything pertaining to World War 1 or 2. How about you? Raffles: The old Batley Variety Club is about 2 minutes from me - I live just outside Hanging Heaton ( or 'angin' 'eat'n, as we (mis)pronounce it My favourite beer comes from Ossett Brewery - it's a bit moorish, fortunately! babs: Thanks for the heads up on the mixology board.

I love the Jack Reacher novels... Tom Cruise was a complete misscast IMHO
