I have been using cotton ( asda baby one ) but noticed it had a funny after taste i tried two of my juices mixes in a dripper with this cotton and thought it was the mix i put the same mixed juice in an iclear xi and it tastes fab with no funny after taste, put the same juice in my taifun gt with cotton and the aftertaste is there/
So what do you guys/gals use ? i have heard of sera filter wool or juwel would these be ok ? i have boiled some of the asda cotton balls and they are drying so i`l re wick the taifun and try again maybe they just needed boiling

Its hard to say but yea you could call it that?
Compaired to the i clear you taste it easy on the taifun with the same juice it has to be the cotton somethin they used on it maybe ?
i have boiled some and its 99% dry on the radiator so i`l give the boiled a try

It sounds (just off the top of my head) that it might be perfumed. Try home bargains?

Sera wool will not work well as its structure is too open and it will not wick well. It is used in atties like the Spheriod as a retainer of the juice, in these RBA's the wick is made using silica or cotton the same as your RBA.
I get an after taste using cotton for a short while until the wick has been used for a while, this is quite normal as they have to settle down. I even get a different taste with silica until it has settled. You must use pure cotton wool and ideally steralised, if it does not say pure cotton wool, dont use it.
