You don't need an allen key for a genuine kfl+ and you don't need the ebay screws either, bonus lol


For everyone buying the clones I would say if you really like it it's worth considering buying a genuine one for the quality, I liked the clone so much which is why I bought a real one. The real one doesn't whistle either and it's V2 so has a better drip tip and all.

The main problem for me is : videos and pictures are enlarged so look simple to do. But when I'm looking at the actual gizmo, its like 'what?!?'

This morning coil is 1.7 and still going well

My early attempts at coiling were very far from pretty, and each one took me ages. But isn't it a great feeling when it fires up and you know you built it yourself!

Never had the inclination before but jumped on group buy with these, with the backup of selling them on after a couple of weeks!
Might go for a real one soon

Nice one spikette, if you want lower ohms just do the exact same but use thicker wire and if you want higher ohms just use thinner wire.

You don't have to do everything exactly the same as the person doing the vid basically, you can alter it to suit yourself.

I'll use the wire and wick I have in stock. 2.5 and 3mm ekowool. I'm doing about 5 or 6 wraps. Happy enough with the result so far.

The first few builds are the worst. When I got mine I couldn't believe how small the build deck is and I thought I would never get it right. After the first couple of bad silica builds I tried microcoils and cotton wool but didn't really see the point. It seems to be more messing around and takes me longer to do and the vape really isn't any better I don't think. Few inches of wire, a bit of silica and just wind coils around it seems for me to give the best flavour and amount of vapour.

Having followed this thread I have concluded-
I need new glasses and or lazer eye surgery, a magnifyer thingy, new light bulbs and stronger medicine for my Delirium tremens!
