Having a strange problem with my old protank, probably me but not sure. Have recoiled an wicked with micro and cotton an its vaping great but there seems to be juice gathering on the shoulders under the drip tip so occationly I end up with a mouthful of juice. Any ideas what might be causing it? I was thinking about the rubber cap at bottom of chimney? Cheers

I get this with all the tanks I use. I think it's condensed vapour because it's a different colour to the juice.
When I vape a home made Apple liquid the juice is a very pale green. The liquid I dab out of the drip tip with a cotton bud is brown.

Cheers This is one of the reasons I never use cotton and micro in those type of coil heads, leak leak gurgle tastes bloody awful with a gob full of juice. 2mm silica, wrap a few wraps of thin kanthal, I use .18mm, round the silica, fit it to the head, fold the silica over the top, fit the cap and trim the wick. Since using this method there's not been a single issue for months, it just keeps on working perfect vape after vape.

Yeah, this happens quite often. The easy trick, that I think @johanino posted a video of, is leaving your attie on your mod, take the drip tip off, fold some tissue and drape it over the top of the attie, grasp the attie, holding the tissue either side, so it is tight to the top, then just use a throwing on the floor type motion (but don't let go!) Do this a few times with a clean section of the tissue on the top, sorted Maybe @johanino can find the video again? My description sounds terrible!

It really does only take seconds

Ha ha! I knew all that already, I don't really know why I asked such a stupid question Really not sure where my head is just now, been using these tanks for nearly a year and automatically clean out around the tip so not really sure where it came from.
