32ga Kanthal ?

Hi bit new to vaping and was wondering if anyone could give me a link so i can get some 32ga Kanthal in the uk as im only using 0.25 at the moment and have been told i would be better off with 32ga Kanthal ?

Is it 32 gauge or .32mm. Kanthal that you are after, as they are not the same
I think 32 gauge is .20mm. What are you using it for?

I am making coils and want 1.8ohm i have 0.25 kanthal thats all i know and i was reading somewhere that said 32 guage is better - maybe im wrong im not sure as very new to this - im doing 8 wraps at the moment and the coils are coming out at 2.4 or 2.0 maybe i should stick at this ?

Try 6 wraps if you want 1.8 ohms or you buy some 0.2 (32 AWG) then you can have more wraps for your 1.8 ohms.

Higher awg means thinner wire equals higher resistance. Forget about AWG which is the preferred wire sizing in the USA and try to stick with metric measurements like.20mm.or.32mm. Kanthal,which is the more common way of quoting wire sizes here in the UK. The thicker the wire, the lower resistance. Using .20mm Kanthal along with using more wraps will send the ohms skywards.

Incidentally, eBay has a few German sellers who will flog you a 100m reel for around £15 - should be enough for a decade or so...
