Nice one, baron - I enjoyed reading that. One comment Choose wisely. The EVIC was my first mainstream VV/VW mod and my most costly failure. If you follow the US forums (which I do) the EVIC takes a bashing. So does the SVD recently as well. Rumour has it, the MVP (VTR) - Innokin - are the least returned of all makes.

Thanks for the advice. I fancied it because of upgrade options to the software on a nice OLED screen showing lots of info via the PC. It just appealed me. Now I fancy the new Supreme upgrade....... hey ho. Bringing myself back down to Earth, I rather fancy the Sigelei 20w model, or the Vamo v5 or the.........? It's just that I fancy a round type of mod to add to my collection.

Ha, my confidence on what I want is all show. I fancy one bit of kit and then find something else to drool over, so what I fancy changes like the wind. That's me, very fickle.

I found the Evic to be a bit on the weak side, only 11 watts at the top end. It should have been okay for me as I vape at that level, but it just wasn`t doing it for me. 11 watts on everything else I had seemed much better. The Supreme might be fun as it gets over the other weakness which was the soft threads which wore away easily, the head threaded bit is now an easily replaced part. It`s just too expensive for me now, I would rather have half a dozen Vamos I really cant find anything better than the VTR. it`s been my number one since I got it. As for Vamos I would buy another V2 before the V5, lower atty resistance possible than most of what has come afterwards and I liked the display on it.

baron - hi and a warm welcome from me too Glad you like the new purchase, I'm a tubular mod man myself; I can fool the OH into thinking I've only got one shiny silver mod, but I think even she might notice if something big and square section showed up on the dining room table! Have you tried some of the juices from T-Juice yet? Many of us like Red Astaire, forest fruits with aniseed and menthol, but that description doesn't really do it justice, it just has to be tried out. You could always sell the balance of a 10ml tester if you really don't like it . . .

Mine turned up safely about ten days after I ordered it, with a bank holiday throw into the mix to disrupt things. A FastTech kinda price without the FastTech wait! I love it. I bought it, after playing with one at a vape meet, thinking that I'd only use it at home and I'd continue to take the MVP out and about with me, but I've hardly touched my MVP since the Vamo turned up

Thanks again for replies. During the last 5 months since giving up smoking, I was too busy blundering about learning about e-cig's and stuff to look at Forums until I stumbled across this site, and decided to darken your Forum by signing up........and, got accepted. I am glad I have, because I like actual users views on what they have bought and whether it is as good as expected. The views on the Evic has changed my mind a bit on that, and the Vamo 5 seems to be as well liked as YT reviews. Although I still rather fancy a Sigelie mod. However, I got away with buying my second mod - the VTR by telling the wife that I bought it at a price from Hong Kong China cheaper than I could here......well it is a bit. Now I will have to be a bit more inventive to buy a tube type mod, I don't want a huge mod like a truncheon, but something smaller to fit in my girly small hands. So far the MVP and VTR fits the bill, and very happy I am too, although the MVP seems to be a bit as it has been sidelined since the VTR arrived yesterday. Ah well, I am sure it understands...... I have saved that site for the Vamo for future reference, since it was a good place to buy from. I was very happy with my experience of buying the VTR from China which was smooth and it was despatched on May 8th and arrived Mon 12th in a well packed box.....a bit battered on the outside, but plenty of bubble wrap inside protecting the sealed box. Being the V2 withe the fixed knurled wheel was a bonus. Advice on juices is appreciated too. I have rambled on enough, so thanks again. (Painfully typed out on my Nexus 7)

Well my Nexus 7 tablet as I have not fired up my PC yet.... Yes, I do have a touch of Shinyitis for new e-cig kit, which has superseded my love of shiny new PC parts, which my overdraft thanks me for.

Thank you for that link to codes. I hadn't seen that as I am still finding my way about in here. I am still finding my way in the vaping world too.
