16 years ago my sweet little Daisy gave birth on our bed.

I'll never forget the way Ed, my partner, yelled to me that something was wrong with the cat!
The first kitten freaked her out, and I had to remove it from the sac and rub it to life. Had to slap OH too...

She had 5 in total, was a conscientious mother, but mightily relieved when they all left home.

We knew it was time for them to go when I came down stairs one morning, found a dead rat on the floor of the lounge where they all spent the night.

Daisy had egress through an open window, had obviously brought the poor creature home to try and teach them how to hunt...

She didn't embrace motherhood!

jackcustard how's your cat doing ? Dose she let you feel her tummy? And the kittens moving around ?

When you asked I felt her tummy, what feels like wiggling one side but not as lively other side. However after a minute or so of gentle rubbing she won't let me near her tummy now...

They seem to have moved more underneath and further back towards her tail.

Kittens started coming about half 1, 2ish! 4 in total. All doing well and first time mum did great!!!

Get some rest if you can the next few days. One the little ones start to walk you will be chasing them all over the living room. A friend of mine a few years ago. There cat had kittens. All was going good. A few weeks later she went out too work. Came home to find her cat fast asleep on the sofa. Cat poo all over the sofa and carpet. Claw marks all over the sofa , one kitten asleep by mum. One kitten took awhile to find it was behind the telly. And kitten number three was half way up the curtains holding on for dear life. With claw marks all behind her!!!

My friend had forgot to shut the door to the living room.
