First impression: It's big, it's black, it works, it's metal - so far, so good...

2 niggles:
The pips on the bottom cap are uncomfortable in the palm of my hand. Minor mod will fix that. It has a 10 second safety cut-off, which I keep hitting. No idea that I toked for so long.
Obviously it doesn't have the solid, quality, feel of a Provari, but it's a bit of a bargain.

You obviously need to improve this Jem, I suggest plying them with more booze to have the desired outcome that you require

Almost a whole day now, and still running on the same battery - excellent device.

Seriously tempted by this to get into the wonderful world of V V - plus the missus has promised me some kit for Christmas! I am a bit confused by the battery choice though - apparently they work with the 1400 mah high drain ones on the site, but can also come complete with a "lavatube battery". Anyone know what the difference is? I will need two 18650 batteries and a charger as I haven't got anything like that, so any suggestions/ recommendations would be much appreciated.

It will depend upon whether you buy the body/battery or the full kit Dave . . . as you haven't got a charger as yet ( I'm assuming ) then I'd be inclined to go for the full kit. Though I will nip and double check I've not given you duff into there. You need to use these particular 18650's because they're pipless so the length is a bit shorter, than those with pips. Edit to say: You've a couple of options here Dave, either to go for the Deluxe Lavatube Kit, where you've everything you need. www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/power-vv-lavatube-mod/321-lavatube-variable-voltage-mod-premium-kit.htmlOr, to buy the body only, then the pipless 18650 batteries & charger seperately . . . whilst you may not use the High Voltage atomiser's especially . . . it would be a more straightforward choice, plus don't forget to use the forum discount code.

Thanks Perpetua for going to all that trouble. I think you are right about going for a kit - I was thinking maybe the standard kit plus an extra battery, since I don't really want the atomisers. Still not sure though what, if any, difference there is between the lavatube battery that comes with it and the 1400 high drain batteries on their site they say you can also use with it. I guess it's nothing worth worrying about
