There isn't one as far as I can see Dave, they're all the pipless 18650's . . . they're just choosing to term them Lavatube Batteries, as they fit . . . whereas the ones with pips/nipples will be a tad too long for you to screw the tube up fully.
I'd have suggested the standard kit + an extra battery . . . but they seem to be out of stock of them at present, as I didn't think you'd want the HV atomiser's especially.
Mind you, if you wanted to hang on, rather than go down the pre-order route, you may well find they do get more stocks of the batteries in.

I'm in a murderous mood after watching a few YouTubers giving a rundown of the Lavatube and mentioning nothing about the button other than "it's clicky" kinda thing. Is it r eally really really easy to press? can you imagine no way it could hurt anyone's digits no matter how tender they were? scylla >

Its here, its great,i have my lavatube What can i say?Its slightly longer than the Provari, alot lighter and it has a nice black powder coated finish.I like the all black buttons and simple to use functions. As for the button, its a black, flat button that does have a click when pressed but is very gentle on the fingers,Scylla you will love this button im positive about that :)It vapes every bit as good as the Provari and im going to give this a hammering to see how long the battery lasts.Im over the moon with this and for the money i think its worth every penny and more to be honest. One slight niggle is the plastic knurled end caps which dont compliment the high standard of the coated finish of the body but thats just cosmetic :)A good quality 510 connector is fitted and there is a rim around it to catch any spills of juice which is great.First impressions are good and for the price its an absolute bargain.Ive had the Provari and to be perfectly honest this vapes every bit as good with the added bonus that you can just take it out and if you lose it then its not the end of the world.I will test further and report back on battery life later,im using a 2ohm Boge at 4v so will be interesting to see how the battery holds up

Could resist no longer so have placed my order! Unfortunately I missed the place where you put in the discount code and apparently after the order is placed it cannot be used, boo hoo. So if you are ordering one pay more attention than I obviously did! Still, from all accounts it should still be a good buy even at full price.

That's something I often do Dave, forget discount codes. Though I did remember it for the Lavatube :-) Here is hoping that you and I both are very happy when they arrive, December seems mths away :-(

If anyone wants to try VV vaping then how about a VV passthrough, I have ordered one from Healthcabin, that way if I like it I can think about a mod/Volcano/Provari without shelling out £££ only to find it's not for me.

Well, ive been chugging away for nearly five hours on this mod and hitting it very hard :)Ive vaped about 4ml up to now at between 4-4.4v and my battery level is reading as 3.6 Im so shocked as ive been giving this some serious abuse and chain vaping and its holding up so very well.It uses the battery power in a very efficient way so thats a good sign.I love the battery check feature, simply press the on/off button 7 times and it displays your batterys remaining power on the screen. All in all for me personally i would sooner have this than the Provari anyday and i LOVED my Provari.Batteries for the lavatube are also considerably cheaper than AWs and Provari batteries and work exactly the same so its a no brainer as far as im concerned. Its not as good looking as the Provari but who cares when performance is the same.It just goes to prove that looks are not everything its personality that counts

My battery has just gone now,the screen started flashing and no vapour.Oh well,so thats a good solid five hours of torture from me which is very impressive.Battery level is now 3.1 so i will give it a charge and put a fresh one in.No drop off whatsoever in the performance, the mod just cuts off when the battery is depleted.I must add that these cheap high drains from Ecig Wizard are very good, also ive managed to fit in an AW without any problems even though it has a nipple on the top.It must just be certain brands of 18650 that wont fit then.

Thanks and kudos to Ian for the very informative (must go back and click the Like buttons! ) reviews. Sounds GOOD. If I can't run in (like a car) my Don to suit my fingers I shall get one. In the meantime, must have a look at the VV passthru Des has mentioned, I really love using a PT. Thanks again, Ian! scylla x

In the meantime, must have a look at the VV passthru Des has mentioned, I really love using a PT. scylla x This is the one I've gone for Scylla www.healthcabin.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1082_1084&products_id=7879It's features: *This is a bi-functional device with a battery inside and a USB port which can both store power and also vape while charging on computers. *There are three volts available in this passthrough easily swapping between 3.2-3.7-4.2V by quick clicks *When the battery is working on computer, the volt is stable all the way. *The USB cord is removeable and retractable which is more convenient, So it's a 3 in 1 purchase 1. Its a passthrough 2. It's variable voltage 3. It's a stand-alone battery All for £14-00! not much more than for a battery

Thanks, Des, I didn't see that one, was looking at the Joyetech eGo. I need Chrissie to come and tell me about voltage, whether it would be good plugged into my eBay hub. Also, both of those models seem to have small buttons, which are a bugbear of mine (I have bruisy fingertips). I may have to wait for someone to actually use one. scylla

What i dont like about these sort of passthroughs is that you are restricted to three voltages so its not actually a fully variable voltage device. All of my VVs go from 3-6v including the lavatube.Dont get me wrong its a bargain but i like to have a full range of voltages and not be attached to a wire.Just my opinion though,i know many people love a good PT.

Im glad you found my input of some use Scylla I honestly think you would like this button as its big, flat and doesnt dig into the finger in any way.It does have a click but its not a click that means the button is hard to press down if you know what i mean :DIm still enjoying this mod alot and its light as a feather to hold.
