Fasttech non delivery, my options

I know it seems to be business as usual for battery sales but as I understand it the Royal Mail has blacklisted them. I'm stocking up while they are still getting through, ordering 4 at time with nothing else in the order. FT prices are less than half what I'd pay here and if one package doesn't make it well too bad. If it's the first order that doesn't make it then I'll see if I can buy a bunch and have them sent DHL.

I've had a response from Fasttech this morning to say my tracking has been updated to 2014-05-15 18:30, RECEIVED IN UK, HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC and not to worry, the item will be with me soon. Funny how it hadn't updated since 20th of April yet as soon as a couple of us start questioning them, the tracking updates

If it isn't here today or tomorrow, i'll open the dispute just to cover my own bum. I just don't want to be left out of pocket in all of this.

Yep, got exact same tracking info, even the time lol.
It does seem very convenient that it's now suddenly updated.
That was one slow flight, 35 days to land in the UK!

You probably won't get it the day after it reached Heathrow, it can spend over a week in the customs shed.

I'm still going to open the dispute just in case it doesn't show up. Something tells me it has been halfway round the world on the slowest boat in the world!

Try phoning the Royal Mail help number on 08459 272 100 and give them the tracking number, they might be able to tell you what has happened to it, MPC looks like Mount Pleasant Centre, which is the main sorting centre in London, and from there it should go straight to the main Luton sorting office.

Yesterday I had 2 parcels show up at LHR, one dispatched from Singapore (Swiss Post) 29/04 the other which I have a query in with FT was dispatched 15/04, I've had 3 arrive that were dispatched between those two dates, definitely not using Swiss Post again...

I had a delivery this morning
It had 2 batterys in it and a few 30ml bottles that i had ordered. I didnt realise they had split the order up

My main package with my nemisis and stingray mods is not up on royal mail yet
still saying being transported to London yet its the same time as the order  above

A percentage of all post is checked, in your case by customs, sometimes again by RM staff. That's why items posted at the same time, even in this country, can arrive at different dates.

My mini protank 3 turned up today shipped 10th april swiss post, a later order also swiss post turned up over a week ago. So it seems some shipments were held longer maybe in customs? Five weeks plus is a bit rubbish tbh ???

5 weeks is quite bad, I agree.

It's very hit and miss. Fastest for me was 12 days. Longest was almost 7 weeks.

I suspect they sit in hangers waiting for cheaper shipment in an emptier plane.
