Hi there, still new to vaping (2 weeks off cigs now) started out with a socialites kit CE4 clearomiser on ego battery, then bought an Aspire Nautilus with 1.8 ohm BDC which I am loving.
I wasn't sure if I was getting best performance of the Nautilus on an old ego battery a friend gave me (volt meter reading of 3.8V) so I purchased a SS Vision Spinner 1300mAh 3.3 to 4.8V so I could try various voltages. However on first use straight away I got that burnt taste but with huge amount of vapour, I couldn't seem to get it to perfom at any voltage.
I checked the voltages with a meter and straight away something seemed off at the lowest setting of 3.3v the meter showed 4.15v and this difference seemed fairly constant as you dialled up, at 4.8v I was getting 5.7v.
Does not seem right to me, maybe I am doing something wrong here, can I use my Aspire on this battery?
Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris. Take a look at my thread about the vision spinner. I might of had a problem like yours.
I don't fully know as I did not check what out put I was getting.I did get a good vapeing out of.mine with a evod clero. But cheap ce4s. But what your use in I would have thought been ok??????
Not really sure as I'm new to all this myself. It's a real learning curve for me

Hi chrisvaper and from me. Firstly, where did you buy the Spinner? It could be a bad one, but if you have recently bought it then I would contact the vendor you got it from. I recently bought a Vision Spinner v2 from Myepack a week ago and it performs how it should, I tested it on my Smoktech ohms/voltage tester and the readings were pretty spot on for each voltage level. I've even dropped it already and it still performs with the same output. In my mind, if the Nautilus fits the threading of your spinner then it should work OK with it, that said, if the Nautilus is a clone or copy then it may give you problems too. I'm no expert by a long shot, still learning myself, so if i'm wrong then someone else will give some better advice.

Hi chrisvaperIt sounds to me like your Spinner is messed up. If the lowest setting gives you 4.1 volts, that's going to cause trouble with an everyday 1.8ohm clearomiser, although I don't know if the Nautilus can take that sort of power.

Hi, at the lowest setting you would be able to use it by using a higher ohm coil. That said though, it should read something similar to what it is set at. I've never tested one to say exactly how accurate it should be, but I would say it is definitely faulty. Did you buy it online?
