But I really don't like the length of time it takes my Nitecore i2 to charge the 18650s I use in my Vamo. Now that I'm really struggling not to pull the triger on an e-Huge, it'll probably be a little treat for myself in a couple of months, I really don't want to think about how long it will take to charge a 26650! As I know naff all about batteries and chargers, is there anything that won't cost a fortune that will charge batteries in a shorter time than the i2, if it is even possible? I did think about doing a quick search, but as soon as I remembered what I left my post count at last night and the thread title came to mind, it had to be done

Nitecore i2 may be slow to charge the 18650s but I don't think you could find a better charger

If your batteries will charge a 2 A it's so much faster: on my Xtar SP2 a VTC4 (2100 mAh) will charge from 3.45 V in 70 mins, don't get tempered by the Efest LUC. Even at 1 A CGR18650CH (2250 mAh) charge in 140 mins.

I think my i2 is giving me an output of 0.5, so I might need to find something that will do me at least 1.

Torchy on eBay Xtar X2 if you contact him on via another forum you can get them for £15 delivered.

If so, why would the longer charging time matter? - jus' sayin'

Nitecore i2 may be slow to charge the 18650s but I don't think you could find a better charger They are a little slow (the i2), but what any self respecting vaper needs is a TEAM of batteries. I have an i2. It gets used on a Sunday. That's it.... and does my batteries for a week.

I recently got an i2 having just switched to my first mod the incredibly advanced Vamo V5 I only bought two 18650 batteries and I charge one of them once a day even with dual coils at low resistance I am fine all day.
I know it seems a long wait but it's a great charger but if you need something that works faster I've read the efest Luc charges in an hour or two and it's not much more expensive I just didn't do enough research before I switched to a battery setup.
But you can )

I rushed into the charger and battery thing because I bought some VW batteries from FT that were DOA. I'm fine with the i2 I only have to charge one battery a day I can live with that
