@yinyang has recommended them in a threat - sorry don't know which one anymore - they are absolutely perfect - I make the micro coil ( without blow torch - thanks jordan ) then keep them for a couple of minutes in those tweezers - result is a perfect 1.9 with 8 1/2 wraps and 2.1 ohm with 9 1/2 wrap - and one certainly can't fault the price -so maybe that belongs to 'found a bargain' - but I did not find it yinyang did

Is that the ceramic ones Clivia? (Your link doesn't work) The ones you can squeeze the coil with while holding the on button?

LOL - just checked the link (which works Clivia!), and it informs me that '3 people have bought this item in the last hour'. Wonder if any of those were forum members!

I'm a horologist, thats watches and clocks for those that watch to many carry on films lol, we think nothing of paying £20 for tweezers, but those linked by OP fine for vaping, ones I use came from poundland (guess price), don't need expensive stuff for messing around with coils. Hope this helps someone saving money to be wasted on shiney things lol.

Fasttech. *sigh* just splash out £ 1.59 and get those ones for now I've got an ancient pair of Adson's tissue forceps which I rescued from the bin and straightened after they fell on the theatre floor. Unfortunately they have a very fine tip, so I plan to ditch them once my (shiny!) new ones arrive. I've actually got quite a few old surgical instruments, some of which have proved very useful over the years. (e.g. curved mosquito artery forceps make a great heat sink when doing delicate soldering)

Hehe No, don't be concerned - at allI worked in operating theatres for about 32 years. I'll *never* run short of syringes or wide-bore needles... ... I've even got an ancient amputation saw
