Hello everyone
I am having some problems with my chest and breathing and think it may be caused by pg. I had it when I first started vaping, then it went away. Then it came back then went away again, and now it has come back again. It is a tight feeling in my chest and the the feeling that I can't get a satisfying amount of air in my lungs when I breathe in which causes tension and sometimes panick. I don't know if it is psychological but I want to try switching to vg primarily to see if it gets better. I started off vaping pg 70/30 liquids. Then I started mixing my own liquid with nicotine in a pg base. I was mixing my pg nicotine base with pg 70/30 flavor concentrate. I was also vaping WTA liquid which was 70/30 pg. I bought some vg heavy flavor concentrate and started mixing my pg nic base with that, although the ratio was not stated for this flavor concentrate it was just advertised as 'vg heavy' I also think there still would have been a considerable amount of pg in the mix? maybe not. I want to find a vendor where I can get a very high vg liquid ratio like 80/20 or maybe even just vg exclusively. I would like to know a good place that does this . I had a look at tjuice but you can't seem to alter the pg vg ratios for the liquids there , maybe I missed it , can anyone help? thankyou

do you mean ready mixed liquids - because otherwise you get the vg cheap at boots or at classikool - grants does a 100% vg custard - but am sure there are more vendors who do

Mix your own using a calculator and raise the vg proportion. However many concentrates seem to be pg based but sure you can get much better using Tjuice concentrate than 70/30 pg? Im mixing at 50/50 at the moment and sure you can go much higher in vg % mix. Maybe I don't understand what your saying? eg: a look at tjuice but you can't seem to alter the pg vg ratios for the liquids there

@alopezg1 - mixing your own would be the best solution, then you can have full control over the amount of PG in your mix. Nearly all concentrates come in a PG base, but you could then mix at whatever percentage PG up to about 75% (the other 25% being flavouring, of course). T-Juice sell concentrates of their juice, and most of these work well at about 20% concentrate to base. You can also get Nicotine Base in VG, so that takes that out of the equation too. If you use the calculator at the top right of every forum page, you could experiment with some pretend recipes until you are sure you know what you are doing. If you save them, click the box for 'Private' and then your experiments won't show in the public recipes section Give us a shout here if you need more help, but I think DIY is the way to go - oh, and it works out much cheaper too!

You can buy VG e-liquid from TrueVape (focus on Tobacco flavours, with exceptions) Pure Vape (wider non-tobacco selection) VVapour have a mix-your-own type deal where you can specify ratio down to zero Don't forget Cloud 9 Vaping, who stock the Johnson Creek range (most of which, I think, you can buy in VG and PG).... Interestingly, Pure Vape sell in quantities up to 1 litre. If you (or someone else) can find VG (or alcohol?) concentrates suitable for mixing eliquids then the easiest path is to mix your own - Vapers Emporium sell Aqueous VG (AG) Nicotine Base. If you can't find VG concetrates, I reckon you can pull the PG ratio below 20%. Perhaps, if mixing is viable, reach out to the folks at Leisure Liquids or Chefs Vapour for advice. Can't think of other paths off the top of my head...

From the symptoms you are describing, I would guess that it may be something else you are reacting to. My first guess would be that your nicotine level is too high. Decadent vapours do vg premixed in a lot of flavours www.decadent-vapours.com/en/Most flavours are based in pg. I have an intolerance of pg but find the amount in the actual flavouring well within my tolerance levels I mix my own in 100% vg base.

These people could be worth a looksee @alopezg1: vapegreen.co.uk/I'm PG sensitive, but find like Dragon I can handle a home brew VG heavy mix, where the only PG is in my flavourings.

Thank you everyone
I will have a fiddle around with nic strength and vg bases and see if the problem abates . Seems to have gone away again today
