Hi all. I've been using ainaseed in my evod clero. Now it's a very strong taste. If I were to put something else in there that only has a lighter taste to in I know that the taste of the ainased would come though and spoil the taste of the other juice. Is there anyway I can get the taste of the coil and wick ? Now I always run the little kanger head under the tap when I change juices and sometime before a refill of the same juice. Just so it stays fresh and the wick dose not get clogged up. I also so rinse the tank out too. But I don't think this will be good enough to take the taste away. Is there a better way of doing it ? Or should I just keep this one for that one juice now?
Thanks in advance

You can try soaking in denture tablet and hot water or vodka at least overnight but it might still taste of the aniseed. You can change the coil they only screw in and out and keep that coil for your aniseed type juices.

But I might keep the head just for that juice as I do like it and will be ushering it again. I have a few spare heads so that's not a problem. Thanks

If they are silica wicks halight , try dry burning the heads after washing, will help to get rid of the 'gunk' from the coil. Remove the chimney head and carefully remove the flavour wicks (if you have any) insert coil head into base and fire in little bursts on a ego battery and until it is glowing orange nicely, the silica wick won't burn out and should go white too. Then replace everything when happy.

this is why I prefer the single bottom coils - just change the cotton wool and you don't have any after taste - always the nice fresh one you want to try when I started I used clearos - tried to soak them in the denture tablet solution or even just water - I could not get rid of that nasty taste

No need to remove any wicks from these coils. Just dry burn them as they are, obviously rinse out the existing juice first. Keep going til you get a good even glow and it stops smoking.

That's what I do - I can get a good couple of months use at least out of my coils by doing it this way.The ones I'm using are nearly 3 months old and still going strong.

Did'nt think you could dry burn them that long, that's were I 've been going wrong I only burn a couple of times, 2/3 seconds at most, which ain't doing nothing by the sounds of it.

Bicarbonate of Soda is a better option than denture tablets halight as it's flavourless so you don't replace one flavour with another. Found in the bakery aisle of most large supermarkets, I use a heaped teaspoon in a half cup of boiling water. Though Aniseed is unlikely to be completely shiftable, whatever you do . . . .

Just do it in short bursts and until you have a nice orange glow. The reason why I carefully remove the flavour wicks is so I can it see better IMO.
