I genuinely just saw a horse running along a street with a dog tied to it on the tv, and that wasn't the craziest thing I have seen in the last two minutes.

A lot of you already know me from the other forum but for those that don’t my name is Vince and I ran HeavenlyVapours.
Today I went to court for sentencing, however my lawyer managed to get an adjournment until the 24th of June. The adjournment is to allow for the prosecution and defence to make submissions that relate to sentencing (how high a fine I should pay). This adjournment is very good news in my mind as it now means that the time I have before having to lodge an appeal has now been moved back from the 30th of May to the 15th of July. Every bit of time is really important as it give more time to run a public awareness campaign and hopefully more time to generate the money required to fund an appeal.
I want to thank everyone here that has been so supportive of this fight.
Part of the reason for the adjournment lies in the fact that the Prosecution wanted to table (at the last minute) two documents. We have supplied Vince and his legal team with an extensive list of research as rebuttal to the contents of those documents. For those who might be interested in the gory details, they can be read here
Please Help With Information WA Appeal
The legal case is updated in this thread here Western Australia bans sales of e-cigs
This means that we have more time to raise money to fund the Appeal of this decison. This Appeal will go to the High Court of Australia.
Donations can be made at Ecigs our right to choose
And the petition can be signed at WA health minister-please legalise pvs
We want to thank UK Vapers for their support of this legal case, which could ultimately impact vapers globally. If anyone is able to donate, that would be fantastic, and of course signing the petition would be fantastic too. If you do sign, please make a comment, as Vince is planning on printing all of the comments out and presenting them to said WA Health Minister.
General chit chat about this case can be found at Australia General Discussion
Once again, thank you for your support, cheers Deb Smiling"
Sorry for just doing a straight rip of this from elsewhere . Without me opening up all of the links this guy (e-cig vendor) has had to close his business because W.Australian courts have upheld an appeal from the State that has decided that because some e-cigs look like tobacco cigarettes they should ban them .The guy featured in this Vince (the vendor) needs $50,000 dollars simply to pay off his current fines and to be able to appeal against this stupid illogical court decision. Last time I looked his fund had reached 22,000 . This is what could possibly happen anywhere and everywhere if this is not stopped !!!

At least our government in the UK and the the members of the EU and willing to wait until there is more evidence on the table before there final decision is made. Ok that decision no doubt will no be in our favour, BUt I don't think it will be anywhere as bad as an outright ban on the selling of them. Might be hard. And there might be a large clamp down on them. But if you can jump though the hoops they set. You should still be. Able to sell them .
