A Great BIGGGGG THUMBS UP from me for these ew XXL DC cartos from Jason www.vapeescape.co.uk/dual%2Dcoil%2Dxxl%2Dcartomisers%7E262I don't really feel justified in doing a review as I've not been vaping that long, but I've got to say that these cartos are just brilliant. Tons of flavour and a really great vape all round on the ProVari at any rate. Since getting the PV I've been really happy with the extra long Boge LR Steel cartos; but Jason sent me a comp one of these XXL DCs last week. So I loaded it up with 666 juice and got - NOTHING except an E1 display - guess who was on 3.8 volts! When fresh these XXL DCs need to be on 3.4 volts or they just won't fire up. A great vape at 3.4. It's not been off the PV since I got it and the resistance has gone up a bit so I'm now on 3.8volts and it's still going strong - but it could do with a clean so I've just ordered a few more! They hold a staggering amount of juice and have a really nice small whistle tip - the only whistle tip that I like to be honest - all the others I've tried just feel way too big. Over the last few weeks I've tried nearly every carto I could get me hands on - but I won't be buying anything else from now on - imo something else would have to be really good to beat these XXL Dual Coils. Just my to'penorth opinion for anyone who is as confused as I was about the plethora of carto options out there.................

It's great to hear people's opinions on PV accessories Andy, especially good ones! I don't think my PV would be up to the job for using a carto like that unfortunately, but maybe one day, when I can afford an expensive model.

Hi Anne - they work just as good on an Ego/Riva type battery - I've tried it on both. You might have to clean it out a bit sooner though as you are stuck at 3.4 volt so might loose a bit of taste after a couple of days constant use.

It's always good to read what others think of the newer Carto's on the market Andy, I've fallen behind a bit now with some of the new widgets . . . it's an impossibilty to try absolutely everything new, unless you've got limitless funds. So, thank you.

So, thank you. Hi Perpy - my Mrs. was thinking I'd found secret limitless funds with the amount of vaping bits 'n bobs I've been getting through these last few weeks I can tell you! I only bit the bullet with the ProVari 'cos it was a good deal off a certain board member , but what with popping batteries like they were going out of fashion, loosing control of my taste buds and various other calamities it made sense to get it when the opportunity presented itself. The array of 'stuff' out there is bewildering - or at least it is to me and it can be a bit of a steep learning curve; but with this boards input and help from folk like Jase and Kev, I've found a combo that suits me down to the ground. The funny thing is, this vaping mularky is more serious than the damn tobacco smoking that it's replaced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah well . . . I have a theory Andy, once you find that vaping can actually work for you, which is a miracle in itself . . . some of us then enter into the very pleasurable hobbyist/enthusiast phase . . . a bit like the stages of development with butterflies. I like to think we're the Butterflies of Vaping.

Just out of interest, should all cartos be left to soak for half an hour?

I don't know about that Anne but I would think it's a good idea. The last clear DC carto I started (with plenty of juice in it) burned and I couldn't get rid of the horrible taste so had to bin it. It's the first one that's done that to me. Regarding the thread title - that's a bit misleading, Andy, I thought you had the same problem as I've had with 2 of Health Cabin's clear DC cartos - they're literally cracking just little tiny cracks at the screw end and not many of them, but enough to make the thing unstable. Cracking was a big problem with early-ish versions of clearomisers, I think that problem has been "cracked" now scylla

Lol, that's what I thought at first too, a faulty carto!
Who is it that likes Kangers and how do they all differ to each other? I'll need to buy some more soon.

(lots of built in assumptions about quality and consumer expectations thereof, I know...)

HC have got their own logo on these so I think they (thought that) they'd chosen carefully. I must ask Perpy if she's had other feedback on them. scylla

IMHO they are better with some juice but not others... worth trying some as long as you use thin juice they hit nice and hard
