I'm new to both the forum and to vaping, having been a dedicated smoker of analogues for over 35 years I switched to vaping 2 weeks ago and found it incredibly easy to go from 20 a day to 5 the first day 3 the 2nd and then nil ever since. I am astonished how easy it was and am kicking myself for hesitating and not having done this years ago when I first heard about e-cigs.
That being said I suffer from can'tbearseditits which was one of the reasons I didn't switch before now as I thought I wouldn't put up with all the faffing about charging and refilling my e-cig. My affliction is why I only ever smoked packet cigs rather than rollies - tried that for a day or so and soon got fed up with it and went back to buying the ready-mades. At one point I was smoking over 40 a day but managed to get down to under 20 by going outside for a fag and kept that up right up to 2 weeks ago when I switched to vaping.
I actually started researching ecigs a couple of years ago and went through phases of reading forums like this and looking into the different starter sets etc. but without having been able to try vaping I wasn't at all sure it was going to be for me and didn't want to spend £50 on top of my weekly ciggie spend in case I didn't like it. However 2 weeks ago I was out with my husband trying to kill time whilst my daughter in law was in hospital delivering my new grandson, he spotted an ecig shop and pretty much dragged me in saying it was about time I stopped prevaricating and just made a decision. Long story short I tried it, I liked it and I walked out with a Smok Aro duo set.
I've got myself lots of different 1ml samples to try, but my main juice/liquid of choice at the moment is Hangsen Blueberry 18mg. and I appear to be vaping about 5ml a day.
So having said that I love vaping and also admiting to can'tbearseditis I have a few questions, I quite like the Smok Aro it's about as "faffy" as I think I can cope with and not get fed up however, I am finding that it leaks; now initially this was me over filling it, then it was me not topping it up soon enough, theres also been user error when refilling even with needle nose bottles I've managed to make a mess, but having gotten better at all that I'm still finding that it feels "sticky" in my hand I'm also refilling it several times a day or switching to carts I've prefilled that I keep in the case so I only have to refill them once or twice a day. I now can't decide if me keeping them in the case laying flat might be part of the problem even if they only have a bit of juice left in them but I can't see a way around that when they have to be in my handbag. I do use a stand for the one I'm vaping at the time. Last week I went into my local shop which is a smokers angel and bought some Halo juice (which I didnt like overly much) and thought that maybe it was causing the leak/sticky feeling so I ordered more Hangsen changed the coils and have been vaping that for the past 4 days and again there is still this "sticky" feeling - I cannot see any trace of moisture on my hands or on tissues etc. but I have noticed I'm getting through more liquid in a faster time than I was previously (though this could also just be me using it more as I like it). So is stickiness a sign of leaking or do ecigs generally feel a bit sticky/tacky in the hand?
Secondly - can you get bigger carts? This one apparently holds 2ml and I'd like to not have to top up or change over quite as often as I do now though I could just buy more carts and keep them filled but then theres the "sticky" issue ...
Third question - whats next? I do know that I can do all kinds of cool mod stuff but in all honestly rebuilding coils and things isn't going to be for me with cantbearseditis I want to just be able to fill the tank/cart as quickly and easily as possible, screw on a battery and start vaping, I'm happy to keep buying ready made coils as they are a fraction of the cost of what smoking would cost me as it is. Battery use time seems okish with the ones I have but longer use before charging might be something that would interest me.
I think thats about it for the moment - I'll probably remember more things I wanted to ask later but given that this is my first post to the forum I've probably already caused your eyes to glaze over with boredom lol

Hi snow and welcome. I actually do not know the aro, but lots on here will and can advise you of something similar, but there are a lot of bigger tanks out that are faff free, and you can buy coils for. Without knowing the aro I don't know if you are currently getting a cool vape or a warm vape, a tight draw or an airy draw. What I mean by this is if you were to get a protank, it is bottom coil, ( which you buy so no faff ) it is a cool vape because the coil sits in the bottom, and you can add an airflow connector so that it is a tight easy or inbetween draw. If you were to get an iclear 30, it gives a lot of flavour, but it is warm, like warm vapour and you have to suck harder as it is a tighter draw. You have come to the right place someone will be able to advise perfectly, but yes there are bigger tanks out there, which you just buy new coils for and easy does it.

Firstly - You're first question: No they should not leak when laid down, have you lost one of the O rings or top grommets off the head? See this picture: Second question - Bigger tanks? OH YES!! have a look at this thread allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/15174/hand-rightThird question - "What's next?" - Well the world is your lobster! most people move to variable voltage or variable wattage where you can control how much vapour is produced, move to bigger battery devices, or buy the latest "pretty" accessory, just keep reading the forum and you will SOON learn! Good Luck!

ah welcome Snow, welcome to AAEC! and there's nothing wrong with wanting faff-free vaping I've been at it for about 7 months and although I don't mind tinkering with some vape gear I always have my 'guaranteed to work' stuff to hand! Theres nothing that cant be fixed by jabbing a cotton bud at it I say!!! I'm all for easy workable gear. As for tank size, they do an aspire nautilus which holds 5mls of e-liquid, has shop bought coils and works a charm so there's always an answer to everything. Mind you, you need a decent sized battery to stick it on - otherwise its mega top heavy............. but if you are slobbing in the house, who cares what it looks like.............as long as it works

Welcome to the 'family' well done on making the switch, I think you've started the way most of us did. Regarding fuss free larger tanks try the aerotank or aerotank mega, I've moved from the 'standard' clearomisers, through mini protanks (hated them), iClear 30 (great to start with but need a lot of cleaning) and I'm now on the aerotank and its GREAT

Kanger is your answer, they do a few different tanks that use the same type of coils Discodes has put up the picture of. Give it a bit of time cos coiling them is easy peasy.
